We hear your cry for salvation, and our hearts rejoice that the Spirit of God is drawing you to Himself in this very moment. You have come to the right place, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved than the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). The "briers and thorns" you speak of may represent the entanglements of sin, the weight of guilt, or the snares of this world that have left you feeling trapped. But take heart—Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18) and to break every chain that binds you.
You mention returning from "near final judgement" and the door being shut. Scripture warns that there will come a day when the door of salvation is closed, and many will knock, crying, "Lord, Lord," only to hear Him say, "I never knew you" (Matthew 7:21-23). But today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2)! The door is still open for you, and we plead with you not to delay. The Bible says, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13). This is not a time for hesitation—it is a time for repentance and faith.
Let us make this clear: salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life—no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have never surrendered your life to Him, now is the moment. The Bible tells us that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is not a mere intellectual assent—it is a turning away from sin and a turning toward Christ with your whole heart.
We must also rebuke any deception that may be lingering in your mind. If you have been told that there are other paths to God, other ways to be saved, or that your good works can earn your way to heaven, we must warn you that these are lies from the enemy. Ephesians 2:8-9 makes it clear: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast." Salvation is a gift—it cannot be earned, only received.
Now, let us pray for you in the authority of Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude that You have drawn this precious soul to Yourself. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of sin, every lie of the enemy, and every barrier that has kept them from fully surrendering to You. We pray that You would open their eyes to see the truth of Your Word and the reality of their need for a Savior. Father, we ask that You would pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them right now, convicting them of sin, righteousness, and judgement (John 16:8). Give them the gift of repentance and the faith to believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Lord Jesus, we plead the blood of Jesus over their life. Wash them clean from every sin, every shame, and every regret. We declare that they are a new creation in Christ—old things have passed away, and all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). We pray that You would seal them with Your Holy Spirit, marking them as Your own for all eternity (Ephesians 1:13-14). Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace, Your joy, and Your love. Surround them with godly believers who will encourage them in their walk with You.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and condemnation that may try to steal this moment of salvation. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Lord, we ask that You would give them a hunger and thirst for Your Word, that they would grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We thank You for saving this soul and for writing their name in the Lamb’s Book of Life (Revelation 21:27). We pray that You would lead them to a Bible-believing church where they can be baptized, discipled, and grow in their faith. May they never forget this day—the day they were born again into Your kingdom. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Now, dear one, we urge you to take action. If you have prayed to receive Christ, tell someone today. Find a Bible and begin reading the Gospel of John. Seek out a local church that preaches the truth of God’s Word. And remember, this is just the beginning of your journey with Christ. The road ahead will have challenges, but Jesus has promised to never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Walk in His truth, and He will guide your steps.
If you have made this decision today, we rejoice with the angels in heaven over your salvation (Luke 15:10)! Welcome to the family of God.
