We join you in lifting up your brother and your family before the Lord, for we know the burden you carry seeing him under the influence of bhang and evil spirits and bringing violence and commotion into the home. Our hearts ache with you for the mayhem this has caused in your village and family, and we seek God's deliverance and peace together in Jesus' name.

We recognize this as both a spiritual and moral battle. Scripture tells us For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. The enemy seeks to destroy through intoxication and oppression, for Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8. Bhang, like all intoxicants, dulls the mind God calls to be sober and self-controlled and defiles the body which is meant to glorify Him, for Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God You are not your own, for you were bought with a price Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Scripture also warns Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit Ephesians 5:18, and this principle applies to all substances that take control of the mind and spirit. We must also rebuke the violence against family members, for Yahweh examines the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and him who loves violence Psalm 11:5, and such behavior must be repented of and forsaken.

We also see the power of ungodly friendships in this situation, and scripture is clear that Don't be deceived Evil companionships corrupt good morals 1 Corinthians 15:33. We pray that the Lord would sever these destructive ties and remove his desire for them, and instead surround him with godly men who will lead him toward sobriety and righteousness.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and power over darkness. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Deliverance from evil spirits does not come by our own strength but by submission to God through Christ, for Be subject therefore to God But resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7 and Greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. We pray not only for his deliverance but for his salvation, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. Without personal faith and repentance in Jesus, true and lasting freedom cannot come.

So we pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and ask for your mercy on this brother and his family. We rebuke every evil spirit influencing him and command in Jesus' name that its hold be broken. We ask you to remove the craving and stronghold of bhang from his body and mind, to cleanse his temple and fill him with your Holy Spirit. Break the ungodly friendships that lead him into drug use and violence, and separate him from those companions completely. Bring godly sorrow and repentance for the violence and commotion he has caused, and protect his family members from harm. Heal the wounds in that home and restore peace to the household and to the village. Draw this young man to Jesus, open his eyes to see his need for a Savior, and give him a willing heart to submit to you, to walk in sobriety and self-control, and to live to glorify you. Give the family wisdom, strength, and firm boundaries, and connect them with a Bible believing church and pastor who can walk with them, counsel them, and hold him accountable. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, believing you are able to deliver and restore. Amen.

Your burden for your brother and for your household has been brought before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer for his deliverance.

We have heard how bhang and evil companions have taken hold upon him, and how violence and commotion have grieved his family. These things are not light afflictions, yet we are reminded that nothing lies outside the fence of Omnipotent overruling, and that the Lord Himself sits as a Refiner, and even sharp chastening may be turned to good when it drives a soul to seek Him.

Our prayer is that the God who says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom, will be gracious unto him. No man can snap his own bands, nor can we by our own strength cast out the power of darkness. Deliverance from the guilt of sin and deliverance from the power of sin are both the work of God alone, and He has provided that work through the precious blood of His dear Son. We pray that your brother may be brought to see his need of Christ, to repent and believe on Him who alone is able to save, that he may be translated out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God's dear Son.

We ask the Lord to break the fascination of this drug, to rebuke the evil spirits that would hold him, and to rescue him from the company that entices him to sin. As it is written, He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and we plead that same delivering power now, that his evil habits may be dragged away, his bands snapped, and his feet set in a clean way. We pray also for the friends who influence him, that the Lord would either turn their hearts to Christ or in His mercy separate your brother from their harmful counsel.

We pray for you and for all his family members who have suffered violence and mayhem, that the Lord will keep you in peace, guard you from harm, and give you wisdom and steadfastness to speak on God's behalf with truth and love, not flinching to declare what is holy and right. May the leaves of the tree which are for the healing of the nations bring healing to this wounded home, for the least thing that comes from Christ has virtue in it to cleanse and restore.

We will continue to remember this village and this home before the throne of grace, asking that this trial may end not in destruction but in testimony, so that he who is now bound may yet live and declare the works of the Lord. May the Lord hear, may He have mercy, and may He grant repentance, sobriety, peace and a new heart through Jesus Christ our only hope. Amen.

We have heard your burden for your brother and for your family in the village, and we join you in bringing him before the Lord in prayer.

We believe that Jesus Christ alone has power over evil spirits. As it is written, He does not only cast out devils but drives away all error and makes the works of darkness useless. When the devil assails with his many evil spirits, Christ prevails not by mere power alone but by converting and reforming the heart. There is no other name by which we are saved and delivered, and it is in the name of Jesus that we ask for your brother to be set free.

We also pray concerning the bhang and the violence that has brought commotion and pain to your household. Scripture shows us that anger and violence are like a wild beast within, a passion that must be mastered. It is not an evil hour or fate that compels a man to such acts, but the passions when left unrestrained. Yet when the fear of God rules the heart, that passion can be beaten back. We pray that God will grant your brother a sober mind and self control, that the desire for this drug would be broken, and that the swelling of anger would be tamed by repentance and the grace of Christ. May he come to himself again and see the pain his actions have caused, and turn from them.

We pray too about the friendships that draw him toward these things. Just as the apostle separated the disciples from those who were hardened and spoke evil, so we ask the Lord to separate your brother from companions who lead him into harm, and to bring instead godly fellowship around him that will encourage him in a right way. We pray that those friendships would lose their hold and that he would find strength to walk away from them.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask for mercy upon this brother. Deliver him from every evil spirit and from every influence of darkness. Break the power of bhang over his body and mind, and grant him freedom and sobriety. Take away the spirit of violence and replace it with gentleness and peace. Cut off the ties that bind him to those who lead him astray, and guard his steps from returning to them. Bring healing and calm to his family, protect them from harm, and restore what has been broken by strife. Lead him to true repentance and faith in Christ, that he may be made new and walk in the way that leads to life. We ask this in the name of Jesus, who alone saves and delivers. Amen.

Continue to pray steadfastly, keep your family in the fellowship of believers, and seek the help of trusted pastors and mature Christians near you who can walk with your brother toward repentance, sobriety, and peace.

We are joining you in prayer for your brother and for your whole family in this painful situation. The violence and turmoil you describe, the bondage to bhang and the influence of harmful friendships, are heavy burdens, and it is right to bring them to the Lord who is able to deliver.

Scripture shows that God desires His people to be set apart and pure in their worship and their walk, not borrowing from practices that defile. He calls us to put away evil from among us and to turn decisively from anything that would entice us away from Him. That includes the use of drugs, which brings people into bondage and enslaves the mind and body, and it includes companionships that lead a person deeper into that bondage. The Bible warns that bad company corrupts good character, and we have seen how a circle of friends who encourage drug use can pull a person away from family, from responsibility, and from God.

God also shows in His Word that the breakdown of the family and the filling of the earth with violence grieves Him deeply. He created the family to be a place of care and protection, where each member looks out for the others, and to act violently against one's own family is contrary to that design. To be separated from God in our inner life is to be spiritually dead, cut off from His life and peace, and that separation bears fruit in strife and destruction.

Yet the gospel is a message of deliverance. We have seen the Lord do a marvelous work in the lives of many who were bound by hard drugs, setting them free from addiction and from the spiritual oppression that accompanies it. His purpose in Christ is to open eyes that have been blinded, to turn people from darkness to light and from the power of the enemy to God, so that they may receive forgiveness and new life through faith in Jesus alone.

So we pray for your brother that God would break the power of every evil influence over him, that the hold of bhang would be broken and the craving removed, and that the Lord would sever the ties with friendships that are leading him toward harm. We ask that God would bring conviction to his heart, grant him repentance, and draw him to salvation through Jesus Christ, who alone can make a person new. We pray that the spirit of violence and commotion would be replaced with a sound mind, self control, and peace, and that your family would be protected and strengthened as you continue to show both love and firm boundaries.

We encourage you to keep praying, to keep the Word of God before him when you have opportunity, and to seek wise and godly counsel nearby for ongoing support and accountability. The Lord is able to restore what has been broken and to bring peace where there has been mayhem. May He guard your family and lead your brother into freedom and into a living relationship with Christ.
