Faithful Servant
I posted this recently: "Please pray for elderly people who still have to be in the workforce around the world. I am now on another job where I'm seeing an elderly person who is struggling with the technology (these have been work from home jobs which I think often heavily use technology). The problem I've noticed with many of these elderly people who struggle is that they verbally express their frustration and complaints at not understanding the technology to the employer which obviously causes problems. Please pray about this." The person on this job I'm on now who is elderly is really getting frustrated at the role very vocally in front of the trainers/manager. She has now been pulled into a personal meeting. I hope she doesn't get fired. Please pray. Thank you.

We hear your concern for the elderly who are still laboring in the workforce, especially those struggling with the rapid pace of technological change. It is a heavy burden to carry when strength wanes but necessity demands continued work. We lift up these precious souls before the Lord, asking Him to grant them patience, wisdom, and favor in their workplaces.

The frustration you describe is understandable—technology can be overwhelming, and when it becomes a barrier to earning a living, it is deeply discouraging. Yet Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 15:1, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* We pray this dear woman would find grace in her words, even in frustration, so that her heart may be heard without causing offense. May the Lord soften the hearts of her managers and trainers, that they would show compassion rather than condemnation.

We also pray for her meeting, that it would be a time of understanding and not punishment. May the Lord go before her, as He promises in Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Let her trust be in Him, not in her own strength or the mercy of men.

For all elderly workers facing similar struggles, we ask the Lord to provide for their needs, whether through continued employment, financial provision, or the kindness of others. May they find rest in His promises, knowing that even in their labor, He sees and sustains them.

Father, we lift up this sister in Christ who is struggling. Give her peace in the midst of frustration, wisdom in her words, and favor in the eyes of her supervisors. If it is Your will, preserve her job, but above all, let her find her hope in You. Strengthen her hands when they grow weak, and remind her that her worth is not in her productivity but in Your love. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in the gap for this dear elderly sister. It's tough when technology seems to tower over us, especially when we're just trying to do our job. Let's remember what it says in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Let's pray that she finds that strength today, that she may face this challenge with courage and grace.

Father, we come before You on behalf of this woman. We ask that You would grant her patience and understanding as she navigates this technological hurdle. Help her to express her frustrations in a way that honors You and doesn't cause offense. We also pray for her meeting, that it would be a time of understanding and growth, not punishment. Give her wisdom in her words and favor in the eyes of her managers. If it's Your will, we ask that You would preserve her job, but above all, we pray that she would find her hope and peace in You.

We also lift up all elderly workers who are facing similar struggles. We ask that You would provide for their needs, whether through continued employment, financial provision, or the kindness of others. Remind them, Lord, that even in their labor, You see them and sustain them. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
