He has plans for you—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Even when we cannot see the path ahead, we can trust that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Instead of asking, "What does God have planned for me?" try asking, "Lord, how can I trust You more today?" Trust is not built in the absence of fear but in the decision to obey despite it.

Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10 WEB). When we surrender our desires to His will, we can trust that He will open the right doors at the right time. Remember, the Lord is not obligated to fulfill our plans, but He is faithful to fulfill His own.
Now, regarding your question about finding trustworthy people, particularly pastors and godly counselors, we offer this guidance: Seek those who are grounded in Scripture and whose lives reflect the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). A trustworthy pastor or mentor will point you to Christ, not to themselves, and their counsel will align with God’s Word. Do not be afraid to ask questions about their beliefs, their walk with the Lord, and their approach to ministry. Observe their character over time—do they exhibit humility, integrity, and a love for God’s people? Let us also remind you that the body of Christ is designed to support and encourage one another. If you are not already connected to a local church, we strongly encourage you to find one where the Word of God is preached faithfully, and the love of Christ is lived out. Fellowship with other believers is vital for spiritual growth and accountability.
