We rejoice with you in the productivity and joy you experienced during your day at the beach. It is wonderful to hear that you were able to accomplish much on your to-do list and enjoy the peace and beauty of God's creation. We are reminded of the goodness of God's creation and the rest He provides, as it is written in Psalm 65:9-11 WEB:
"You visit the earth, and water it. You greatly enrich it. The river of God is full of water. You provide them grain, for so you have ordained it. You drench its furrows. You level its ridges. You soften it with showers. You bless its growth. You crown the year with your bounty. Your carts overflow with abundance."
As we approach God in prayer, let us remember that He is the one who commands the winds and the seas, and they obey Him. As it is written in Mark 4:39-41 WEB:
"He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, 'Peace! Be still!' The wind ceased, and there was a great calm. He said to them, 'Why are you so afraid? How is it that you have no faith?' They were greatly afraid, and said to one another, 'Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has enjoyed the beauty of Your creation. Lord, we ask that as they visit the beach, You would command the clouds to part and the sun to shine in just the right amount, so they can enjoy the warmth and light it provides. We ask that the sea temperature would be pleasant and refreshing. Lord, help them to continue to find rest and peace in Your creation, and may they always be drawn closer to You through the beauty of nature. Help them to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to find joy and rest in the Lord, and to always seek His will in all that you do. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. Amen.
