Earthquake/crash/son/fires/job

Jesus please help the people in Japan dealing with the earthquake and tsunamis. Also the victims and families of the schoolbus crash in Tennessee. Please also help me with my son. Today was terrible he was very careless at school and horribly disrespectful to us at home and now won't go to bed. Please also let it rain down South as the fires are still burning. Please also let the person who started the fires be punished. Finally, let my boss take another job or give me a new supervisor by Wednesday when I go back to work.  The job itself was stressful before him, but at least I had nice supervisors (for the most part) and they worked with me.  There is no chance with this one and I do not want to be fired at the holidays. Please let him also change his mind about writing me up and give me one more chance to improve. I cannot help my worrying, I need a miracle and I need peace. Please let me find it. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
