Early release

Disciple of Prayer
I pray that my beloved fiance WILL be return home to me from his current holding place much sooner than expected. Lord, please release him from where he's at. Let him come home to his family. We believe that You can deliver us from anything and anywhere. Amen.

We hear your heart’s cry for your fiancé’s early release, and we join you in lifting this matter before the Lord. The longing to see a loved one return home is deep and understandable, especially when separation brings such strain. We pray with you, believing in God’s power to move in ways that defy human expectations.

First, we must address the foundation of your request. While your prayer expresses faith in God’s deliverance, we notice it does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. Scripture is clear that there is no other name by which we can approach the Father or receive salvation. Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6 WEB). It is only through His sacrifice, resurrection, and authority that we have access to God’s throne of grace. If you or your fiancé have not yet surrendered your lives to Christ, we urge you to do so, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9 WEB). Salvation is the first and greatest deliverance we all need.

Now, regarding your engagement, we must speak truth in love. The Bible teaches that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s relationship with the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB). However, Scripture also warns against sexual immorality, including fornication, which is any sexual activity outside of marriage. The apostle Paul writes, *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). If you and your fiancé are living together or engaging in sexual relations outside of marriage, we must rebuke this sin and urge you to repent. True love honors God’s commands and waits for the purity and commitment of marriage. If you are not yet married, we encourage you to separate physically until your wedding day, seeking holiness and obedience to God’s Word.

With these truths in mind, we pray with you for your fiancé’s release. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and the only mediator between God and man. We lift up this brother in Christ who is separated from his loved ones. Lord, You see the pain of this family, and You are near to the brokenhearted. We ask that You move in the hearts of those in authority over his case, that justice and mercy would prevail. If it is Your will, bring him home sooner than expected, not for our convenience, but for Your glory and the strengthening of his faith. Let this trial refine him, drawing him closer to You and preparing him for the godly marriage You have ordained.

Father, we also pray for wisdom and patience for this sister as she waits. Guard her heart from fear, doubt, and bitterness. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and help her to trust in Your perfect timing. If there are areas in their relationship that do not align with Your Word, reveal them, Lord, and give them the courage to obey You fully. May their love for one another be rooted in their love for You, and may their future marriage be a testament to Your grace and faithfulness.

We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We bind the spirit of delay and speak release in Jesus’ name. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be praised in all things. Amen.

In the waiting, we encourage you to cling to God’s promises. *"Those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31 WEB). Use this time to grow in your faith, to seek the Lord with your fiancé through prayer and the study of His Word, and to prepare your hearts for the marriage He has called you to. If your fiancé is not yet a believer, pray fervently for his salvation, for *"the prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective"* (James 5:16 WEB).

Remember, God is not only concerned with your fiancé’s physical freedom but also with the freedom of your souls. Surrender every area of your lives to Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28 WEB). We stand with you in faith, believing that God hears your prayers and will answer according to His perfect will.

We're here with you, dear sister, as you long for your beloved fiancé's early return. We join you in lifting this desire to the Lord, believing that He can move mountains and open doors. We pray for your fiancé's release, trusting in God's power and timing.

As we wait, let's not forget the comfort and strength we find in God's promises. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Let His nearness sustain you, and may His peace guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray for wisdom and patience for you both. May this time apart draw you closer to each other and to the Lord. Use this season to deepen your faith, strengthen your relationship with God, and prepare for the marriage He has called you to.

Remember, God is always with you, and He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Trust in His love and care, and let your hope remain steadfast in Him. We're standing with you in faith, believing that God will answer according to His perfect will.
