Hi 2 days severe pain in my ear and difficult in opening mouth and not comfort for eating plz pray for my speedy recovery

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your suffering to the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, who heals all our diseases. Father, we know that You see every pain and discomfort, and You are near to the brokenhearted. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." We stand on this promise, believing that You will bring relief and healing to this dear one.

Lord, we ask that You would touch this ear and jaw with Your healing hand. Ease the pain, reduce any inflammation, and restore full movement and comfort. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We claim this healing in the mighty name of Jesus. Guide the hands of any medical professionals who may be involved, and give wisdom to know the right steps to take for recovery.

We also pray for strength and patience during this time of discomfort. Help this dear one to rest in You, knowing that You are in control. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." May Your peace guard their heart and mind as they wait on You.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or pain that may be attacking this body, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We declare that this body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we speak healing and restoration over it. May this trial draw this dear one closer to You, deepening their trust and faith in Your goodness and power.

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. Amen.

We're so sorry this pain has been dragging on and making even eating difficult. Having that kind of ear pain, and the tightness that keeps you from opening your mouth comfortably, is draining physically and emotionally after even a day, let alone two.

We're praying with you for a speedy recovery, and we also want to encourage you to see a doctor or visit an urgent care clinic soon. Severe ear pain combined with trouble opening the mouth can point to an infection or inflammation that needs a professional's attention. This isn't a lack of faith; it's simply wisdom to let someone examine what's happening and help your body heal. You don't need to carry this discomfort alone.

While you wait for relief, we pray:

Lord Jesus, you know this pain intimately, the throbbing, the frustration of not being able to eat freely, the weariness after two hard days. Please quiet whatever is inflamed or infected. Grant this dear person a deep, healing calm, and guide any doctor's hands and mind toward clear answers and swift treatment. Sustain them tonight with real rest, and let morning bring genuine improvement. In your strong name, amen.

Do let someone know if the pain suddenly worsens or if you feel worse overall, you're not being a bother. We're standing with you.

The sharpness of your pain, both in the ear and in the attempt to open your mouth for even the most needful nourishment, is a heavy trial known well to your God. He who formed the ear, shall He not hear? He who opens the hand to feed every living thing, shall He not know your distress when the jaw refuses its office? Yet let not your spirit sink into murmuring, for these very present pains may become a window through which you perceive more of Christ. It is written that the least leaf of the tree of life is for the healing of the nations; shall not the very hem of His garment be enough for your tender frame? The Lord Jesus is near, His healing power is not stored away in some high chamber, but is present in the common word of promise, in the still small voice that whispers, I am the Lord that healeth thee.

You find yourself unable to eat, and this affliction speaks loudly of the soul's deeper dependence. While the mouth is closed, let faith open wider, and feed upon the Bread of Heaven. The act of eating is personal, none can do it for you, and so is the act of believing, by which you appropriate Christ as your own. Even if the loaf of this world be turned to ashes or withheld, His flesh is meat indeed. Do not let this trial pass without hearkening to what the Spirit would teach you through the ear that aches; perhaps He would have you hear His voice more distinctly, shutting out the din of the world. And when your mouth is loosed, let it be first to praise Him, even as Peter's wife's mother, no sooner healed of her fever than she arose and ministered unto them.

We join our prayers with yours, trusting that the same Hand which touched the deaf and the dumb shall give you speedy relief. See how pardon and healing walk hand in hand; bathe your soul in the blood of the covenant, and expect mercy for the body also. Though recovery may seem to come by slow degrees, like strength returning to a long-weary limb, yet every faint improvement is a fresh debt of love. Be of good cheer; He who restored the withered hand can relax these cords, open this door of the mouth, and unstop the hearing. Cast yourself entirely upon Him, looking for not only the cure of the ear but the quickening of the inward man. Then shall you go forth with a new song in your mouth, even praise unto our God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The pain you describe, which grips your ear and locks your jaw against even the simple comfort of a meal, is no small trial. The body, in its frailty, can indeed cast down the soul into deep despondency, making every hour feel prolonged. Yet, understand this: you are the master of whether this affliction remains only a loss or is transformed, through grace, into a gain. How can a sharp, throbbing pain become a spiritual profit? By giving thanks to God even in the midst of it. For when you lift a grateful heart to the Lord and say, in the spirit of the blessed Job, "The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord," you strip the suffering of its lasting sting and place your healing in His hands.

Consider our Lord Himself in the hour of His betrayal. He who commanded legions of angels permitted the swords to be drawn and even healed the wounded ear of His enemy. He did all things voluntarily, showing that nothing befalls us apart from His permission. If He, who is the true Light, submitted to such things for our amendment, teaching us to bear sad events manfully, how much more can you offer this small but severe trial to Him? Let this present difficulty become a sacrifice of thanksgiving. Do not dwell continually on the pain, for words that cause grief only deepen the wound. Instead, speak words of trust, knowing that Christ, who allowed this, is with you in it and will not leave you comfortless.

Though you cannot now open your mouth to eat, open your heart to speak to God. Whether He chooses to heal you speedily through the skill of physicians or to sustain you through a longer trial, use this moment not to wail bitterly but to be exercised in patience. The same Lord who threatened that those who take the sword shall perish with the sword, also shows His mighty power by healing in His own time and way. I pray fervently that this severe pain be taken from you, that your jaw be loosed, and that you may eat again with comfort. But even more, I pray that your soul be kept in perfect peace, anchored not in the fleeting health of the body, but in the sure hope of Christ's continual presence, which is life eternal.
