Each year the Holidays are harder and harder...or at least it seems. I think it's more of a reminder that another year has gone by and I'm still alone. The last serious relationship I was in was before my son was born 14 years ago. Since then, I've been focused on my career and raising him as a single parent. The older he gets, the more I feel lonely and realize I do not want to grow old alone AND that I really need a man in the house...not just for me.

I just pray that whatever God has for me, is for me and that I can patiently wait for His plan. Meanwhile, I also pray that I can overcome this feeling of loneliness.
