We lift this request before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and a deep desire to see God’s will done. First, we must address the matter of salvation, for it is the foundation of all spiritual victory. The Bible tells us, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16 WEB). If these two individuals have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we pray fervently that the Holy Spirit would convict their hearts, draw them to repentance, and lead them to place their faith in Him alone for salvation. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved—only the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12 WEB).
We also stand in agreement for deliverance from demonic influences tied to memories, music, sounds, and words that have brought oppression. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). We rebuke every unclean spirit associated with these memories in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Word declares, *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7 WEB). We command every negative and ungodly imprint in the mind to be broken and erased by the blood of Jesus and the power of His resurrection.
Father God, we ask You to cleanse this precious one’s mind and memory. Your Word says, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9 WEB). We declare that the mind is being renewed by the washing of the water of Your Word (Ephesians 5:26 WEB). Let every trace of darkness be replaced with the light of Your truth and peace. We pray for the filling of the Holy Spirit to guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
We also encourage this dear one to take authority in Jesus’ name over these memories. The Bible instructs us to *"cast down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB). Replace these negative memories with Scripture, worship, and the promises of God. Meditate on what is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Philippians 4:8 WEB).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and power to deliver. We trust that as this one walks in obedience and faith, You will complete the good work You have begun (Philippians 1:6 WEB). May they experience the freedom and peace that only comes from You. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
