We come before the Lord with gratitude for His provision and mercy in your life, especially in restoring access to your IRS account. We recognize that every good and perfect gift comes from Him, and we thank Him for His faithfulness. We also lift up your brother and sister before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to be with them in their workplaces.
Father God, we ask that You grant Your wisdom, favor, and strength to both of them as they fulfill their daily responsibilities. May they walk in integrity, excellence, and diligence, reflecting Your character in all they do. Let their work be a testimony to Your glory, and may they find joy and purpose in the tasks You have set before them. We pray that You would open doors of opportunity for them, protect them from harm, and surround them with godly influences. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, and let them experience Your peace in every situation.
We also want to take a moment to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all areas of your life. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Let this be a reminder that God is interested in every detail of our lives, not just the spiritual ones. He cares about our work, our families, and even our interactions with government institutions.
Father, we also pray for unity and love within this family. May they encourage one another in faith, bear each other’s burdens, and walk together in Your truth. Help them to build one another up in love, as Your Word commands in 1 Thessalonians 5:11, "Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do."
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, fear, or discouragement that may try to take root in their hearts. Instead, we declare that they will walk in the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them be reminded that their ultimate security and provision come from You, not from their jobs or earthly circumstances.
Finally, we want to gently remind you of the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His sacrifice and resurrection that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to continue growing in your relationship with Him, studying His Word, and living a life that honors Him in all things.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
