We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. First, we want to affirm that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed and set free from the powers of darkness. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for He alone has the power to break every chain and set the captives free.
Father God, we stand in agreement with our brother/sister, declaring that every demonic spirit and every ungodly influence tied to music, sounds, or titles that do not glorify You must be broken and destroyed in the name of Jesus. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of oppression, fear, or torment that has sought to entangle this precious soul. We command every demonic memory, every unholy sound, and every title that exalts itself above the knowledge of God to be silenced and cast out now, in the authority of Jesus Christ. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but are powerful through God for the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We declare that this one is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also lift up the request for warmth this Sunday and for the remainder of winter. While we know that Your creation operates under the natural laws You have established, we also recognize that You are the God who calms the storms and controls the winds and the waves. We ask that You would grant favor in the weather, providing warmth and comfort as a testimony of Your kindness and provision. However, we also submit to Your sovereign will, knowing that Your plans are perfect and that all things work together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). If this request for warmth is not in alignment with Your greater purposes, we trust that You will provide the strength, wisdom, and resources to endure whatever comes.
Lord, we pray that this season would be a time of drawing closer to You. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You fill this one with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and leading them in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). Let this time of deliverance be a fresh beginning, a season of renewal and intimacy with You. May they walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them, no longer bound by the past but pressing forward toward the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14).
We also want to gently remind you, dear one, that the battle against the enemy is not fought in our own strength but in the power of the Holy Spirit. Put on the full armor of God daily so that you may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Fill your mind with things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable—whatever is excellent or praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). Surround yourself with godly influences, including music, media, and fellowship that edify your spirit and draw you closer to the Lord. The enemy seeks to use even the smallest footholds to gain access, so be vigilant and intentional about what you allow into your heart and mind.
Father, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). We pray that they would experience the fullness of Your love, the power of Your deliverance, and the joy of Your salvation. May their life be a testament to Your grace and a light to those around them. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
