We come before the throne of grace with this urgent cry for deliverance, standing firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. The battle against demonic influences is real, and we take up the full armor of God as Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
We rebuke every demonic spirit, every satanic memory, every unholy sound and image that has taken root in the mind. In the mighty name of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee and be destroyed, for James 4:7 declares, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We pray that every trace of these influences be crushed, burned to ashes, and removed completely, as Psalm 103:3 assures us that God "forgives all your sins; he heals all your diseases."
Father, we ask You to purify the mind and heart of this beloved child of God. Remove every ungodly image, thought, or memory that lingers, replacing them with Your truth and peace. We declare that the past has no power here, for 2 Corinthians 5:17 proclaims, "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." Help them to seek You diligently, to fix their eyes on You alone, and to resist the temptation to compare themselves to others, for Your Word reminds us in Galatians 6:4, "But let each man examine his own work, and then he will have reason to boast in himself, and not in his neighbor."
We also lift up the salvation of those mentioned in this prayer. If they have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we pray for their hearts to be softened and their eyes opened to the truth. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." There is no other name by which we can be saved—only through Jesus Christ, as Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We also pray for the salvation of those in their life who may not yet know You. Father, draw them to Yourself, that they may experience the transforming power of Your love and grace. We stand in agreement with this prayer, believing that You are faithful to deliver, heal, and restore.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
