We lift our hearts together in prayer, joining with you in intercession for the salvation of souls. Your request touches the very heart of God, for He desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We recognize that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Him, confessing with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believing in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, that we are saved (Romans 10:9).
Father God, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, pleading for the salvation of those who do not yet know You. We ask that You would draw them to Yourself, softening their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word. Lord, we pray for those whose names are represented by the symbols in this request—if they have not yet surrendered their lives to You, we ask that You would break the chains of sin and unbelief in their lives. Open their eyes to see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:4). Let them hear Your voice and respond in faith, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).
We also pray for the people in their lives—family, friends, coworkers, and acquaintances—who may not yet know You. Lord, surround them with believers who will shine Your light and share the hope of the gospel with love and boldness. May Your Holy Spirit convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), leading them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of deception and blindness that keeps people from seeing the truth of Your Word. We declare that the god of this world will no longer blind the minds of the unbelieving (2 Corinthians 4:4). Let Your truth prevail in their lives, and may they come to know You as their Lord and Savior.
We pray for all those who have not yet been saved, that they would turn from their sins and place their trust in Jesus. Lord, we know that You are patient, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that You would move mightily in their hearts, drawing them to Yourself. May they experience the transforming power of Your love and grace, and may they be born again into Your kingdom.
Heavenly Father, we also lift up those who are already believers, asking that You would strengthen their faith and use them as vessels to share the gospel with others. Give them boldness and wisdom to speak Your truth in love, and may their lives reflect the light of Christ to a world in darkness.
We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Amen.
