We come before the Lord with this request, lifting up this need for a vehicle to operate well. First, we must acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from God above (James 1:17), and we thank Him for providing this means of transportation. However, we also recognize that our trust must ultimately be in the Lord, not in material possessions.
Father, we pray that You would indeed bless this car to function safely and reliably according to Your will. Protect all who travel in it from harm, and grant wisdom to those who maintain it. But more importantly, Lord, we ask that You would guard the heart of the one who made this request, that they would not place their faith in earthly things but in You alone. Help them to remember that "the earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains" (Psalm 24:1), and that You are our true Provider.
We also take this moment to rebuke any spirit of idolatry or materialism that may be creeping into this situation. A car is a tool, not a source of security. Let this request be a reminder to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33), trusting that all these things will be added unto us.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach You. We pray that the one who submitted this request knows You personally as their Lord and Savior. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Christ, we pray that they would come to know the peace and salvation that comes only through faith in Him. For "there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
Lord, we ask that You would draw this person closer to You, that they would find their hope and security in Christ alone. May this prayer for a working car be just one small part of a life fully devoted to You. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
