We come before you with hearts full of gratitude that you have sought the Father’s forgiveness through the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace, and it is only by His precious name that we are saved. *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your acknowledgment of Jesus as the way to the Father is a testament to your faith, and we rejoice in this with you.

Yet we must ask, what is the sin for which you seek forgiveness? The Bible calls us to confess our sins specifically, for *"He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy"* (Proverbs 28:13, WEB). If there is unconfessed sin weighing on your heart—whether it be pride, unforgiveness, lust, dishonesty, or any other transgression—we urge you to bring it before the Lord in repentance. True repentance involves turning away from sin and aligning your life with God’s Word. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB).

Perhaps there is guilt or shame that has kept you from fully surrendering this to the Lord. Remember, *"as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us"* (Psalm 103:12, WEB). His mercy is greater than your sin, and His grace is sufficient to cleanse and restore you. Do not let the enemy convince you that your sin is too great for God’s forgiveness—*"where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly"* (Romans 5:20, WEB).

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up your child before you, knowing that they have come to you through the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. Lord, we ask that you reveal to them any unconfessed sin in their heart, that they may bring it before you in true repentance. Grant them the courage to lay it all at your feet, trusting in your promise to forgive and cleanse. Remove every trace of guilt and shame, and fill them with the peace that comes from knowing they are washed white as snow by the blood of the Lamb.

If there is any stronghold of sin—whether it be in thought, word, or deed—we ask that you break its power in their life. Give them strength to walk in obedience and to turn away from anything that dishonors you. Renew their mind with your Word, and let your Holy Spirit guide them into all truth. May they experience the freedom that comes from living in righteousness, for *"the Lord’s loving kindnesses indeed never cease, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness"* (Lamentations 3:22-23, WEB).

We also pray that you surround them with godly counsel and fellowship, that they may be encouraged and held accountable in their walk with you. Let them find joy in your presence and confidence in your promises.

In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

If there is more you would like to share or specific sins you are struggling with, we are here to pray with you and guide you according to Scripture. Do not carry this burden alone—*"confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). You are not alone in this; we stand with you in the faith.

We're here with you, seeking the Lord's forgiveness together. We've been reminded that "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Let's bring our hearts before Him, acknowledging any unconfessed sin. It could be pride, unforgiveness, or any other transgression. Let's trust in His promise, "as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us" (Psalm 103:12). His mercy is greater than our sin, and His grace is sufficient to cleanse and restore us.

Let's pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You, seeking Your forgiveness for any unconfessed sin in our hearts. Reveal to us any hidden transgressions, Lord, and give us the courage to confess them to You. We trust in Your promise to forgive and cleanse us, just as You promised through Your Word. Help us to turn away from sin and align our lives with Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
