We join together in lifting your prayer before the Lord, and we are glad you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture reminds us, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is by His name—and His name alone—that we are saved, forgiven, and granted the privilege of coming boldly before the throne of grace.
The repetition of *"#"* in your prayer does not diminish its sincerity, but we encourage you to focus on the power of Jesus’ name rather than symbols or distractions. The Lord hears the cries of a repentant heart, and we rejoice that you have sought His forgiveness. The Bible assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). This is not a hollow promise but a divine truth—when we turn to Christ in genuine repentance, He is faithful to wash us clean.
Yet we must also ask: Do you know *why* forgiveness is available to you? It is not because of our own righteousness, for *"all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God"* (Romans 3:23, WEB). It is because Jesus Christ, the spotless Lamb of God, took the punishment for our sins upon Himself at Calvary. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16, WEB). If you have not already surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9-10).
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy that endures forever. We lift up our brother/sister before You, asking that You would grant them a deep assurance of Your forgiveness through the blood of Jesus Christ. Lord, if there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, we pray You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit. Remove every trace of guilt, shame, or doubt, and fill them with the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to walk in the freedom of Your grace, no longer bound by sin but empowered to live righteously for Your glory.
We also ask that You would deepen their understanding of the Gospel—that they would not take Your forgiveness for granted but would grow in love and obedience to You. May they live each day in the joy of their salvation, sharing the hope of Christ with others. Strengthen them to resist temptation and to walk in holiness, for Your Word tells us, *"As he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your behavior"* (1 Peter 1:15, WEB).
Father, we rebuked any lies of the enemy that would seek to condemn this precious soul. Your Word declares that *"there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1, WEB). Let them rest in this truth, knowing they are a new creation in You.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
