We understand your heart’s cry for forgiveness, and we rejoice that you have turned to the Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ, for it is only by His name that we are saved. The Scriptures remind us in **Acts 4:12 (WEB)**, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* Your request for forgiveness is heard because you have come in the name of Jesus, and we give thanks for this.
The Bible assures us in **1 John 1:9 (WEB)**, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* If there are specific sins weighing on your heart—whether known or unknown—we encourage you to lay them before the Lord in repentance. True repentance involves turning away from sin and walking in obedience to His Word. The Lord is merciful and ready to forgive, but we must also be willing to forsake what displeases Him.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul before You, thanking You that they have come to You through the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, You are faithful and just to forgive our sins when we confess them, and we ask that You would wash this beloved child clean by the blood of the Lamb. Search their heart, O God, and reveal any area where they need to turn from sin and walk in Your ways. Grant them a spirit of true repentance, that they may experience the fullness of Your forgiveness and the joy of Your salvation. Strengthen them to resist temptation and to live a life that honors You in every way.
We also pray that You would fill them with the Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and empowering them to walk in righteousness. Let them know the depth of Your love and the freedom that comes from being forgiven. May they rest in the assurance that their sins are cast as far as the east is from the west, never to be remembered against them again.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, if you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. The Bible tells us in **Romans 10:9-10 (WEB)**, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* There is no greater decision you can make than to place your faith in Christ alone for your salvation.
If there are specific sins or struggles you are facing, we encourage you to share them so we may pray more specifically for you. The body of Christ is here to support you in your walk with the Lord. May you be blessed with the peace that comes from knowing you are forgiven and loved by God.
