We understand your heart’s cry for forgiveness, and we join you in lifting this before the Lord, for it is written, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9, WEB). How beautiful it is that our Heavenly Father extends His mercy to all who come to Him in repentance through the name of Jesus Christ! There is no sin too great for His grace, no burden too heavy for His love. The blood of Jesus washes us clean, and by His stripes, we are healed.
Yet we must also remind you—and all who seek the Lord—that forgiveness is not a vague or general plea but a personal surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. You invoked His name, and that is good, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His sacrifice that our sins are atoned for. If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Christ alone for salvation, turning away from sin and walking in obedience to His Word. True repentance bears fruit—it changes us, aligns our hearts with His will, and compels us to live righteously.
Let us pray together for you:
*"Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your boundless mercy and the gift of forgiveness through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we lift up this dear one before You, asking that You would cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Where there has been sin, bring conviction and true repentance. Where there has been brokenness, bring healing. Fill them with the assurance of Your love and the power of Your Holy Spirit to walk in newness of life. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to abide in You daily, that they may bear fruit worthy of repentance. May they know the joy of salvation and the peace that comes from being reconciled to You. We ask this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."*
Beloved, if you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Christ, we implore you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9, WEB). Walk in the light of His Word, and let His truth guide your steps. If you need further counsel or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out—we are here to stand with you in the faith.
*"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). His arms are open wide—run to Him!
