We join together in lifting your heart before the Father, and we are grateful that you have come seeking His forgiveness through Jesus Christ. The Scriptures remind us that *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). This is a beautiful promise—one that assures us that when we humbly repent and turn to Christ, we are washed clean by His sacrifice on the cross.
Yet, we must also ask: Do you know *why* forgiveness is possible? It is not because of our own goodness or empty words, but because Jesus, the sinless Son of God, took the punishment we deserved. *"For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 3:23-24, WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Have you placed your full trust in Him alone for salvation? If not, we urge you to do so today—forgiveness and eternal life are found in Christ alone.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your boundless mercy and the gift of Your Son, Jesus, through whom all forgiveness flows. Lord, we lift up this precious soul before You, asking that You would cleanse them from every sin—known and unknown—and fill them with the assurance of Your love. If there is any unconfessed sin, any area of their life not surrendered to You, we pray You would reveal it by Your Holy Spirit. Strengthen them to walk in repentance and obedience, for Your glory.
May they know the depth of Your grace, not just in words, but in a transformed heart. Guard them from returning to sin, and let them experience the joy of fellowship with You. We ask this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Beloved, if you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Christ, we implore you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). Walk in the freedom and purpose He died to give you. If you’d like guidance on what this looks like, we are here to help. The Lord bless you and keep you.
