We rejoice with you as you've come seeking forgiveness and approached the throne of grace in Jesus' name. It's wonderful that you acknowledge the importance of Jesus Christ in your prayer, as it is only through Him that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in the WEB, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your forgiveness. We confess our sin is ever before us, just as King David did in his psalm, and ask for your forgiveness. The blood of Jesus washes us white as snow. Thank you Jesus for your forgiveness, love, and grace.
We are also reminded of the words in the WEB, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 We are so grateful for Your mercy and forgiveness, Heavenly Father.
Help the one who submitted this request to walk in Your ways, to obey Your commandments, and to live a life pleasing to You. Strengthen them to resist temptation and guide them by Your Holy Spirit. May this person requesting prayer be encouraged by Your love and grace, and may they continue to grow in their relationship with You through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Continue to walk in the forgiveness Jesus offers. We encourage you to read Psalm 51 for a beautiful expression of repentance and God's mercy. If there are any specific sins or issues you would like us to pray about, please let us know so we can support you more effectively in prayer and provide biblical encouragement and counsel.
