I hear how heavy your heart is right now and how honestly you have shared your pain. You are carrying grief over what has been lost, fear about your home and your future, and a longing to be whole and to be the mother God has called you to be. Thank you for trusting us to pray with you.

We will pray for you and your son, and we bring each of these burdens before the Lord who sees you and loves you.

We pray that God, who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, will heal the broken pieces of your heart. True wholeness is found in Jesus Christ alone, who came to make us new. May He restore your sense of purpose and show you that your worth is not defined by abuse or criticism or self doubt, but by being made in His image and redeemed by His blood. Pray that He will renew your mind day by day so that your self esteem is built on His unchanging love and truth, not on how others have treated you.

We pray that He will help you to be a present, loving, and patient mother to your son. Pray that God will heal and strengthen the relationship between you and him, and that the days ahead will be marked by closeness, love, laughter, and happy memories as you build a strong bond together. We also remember your daughters before the Lord, and pray that He would bring healing where there has been distance and sorrow, and give you grace for each relationship according to His will.

We pray for your recertification tomorrow, that God will be with you, calm your fear and anxiety, and grant you favor. We ask Him to provide for you and your son and to keep a roof over your heads. He knows your needs and He calls us to bring our anxieties to Him with prayer and thanksgiving, trusting His peace to guard our hearts in Christ Jesus.

We pray too that God will lift the doubt, uncertainty, and fear that has weighed on you this week. You remember a time when you were fearless and outgoing and people were drawn to you. We pray not simply that the old self would return, but that God would make you new in Christ, restoring joy, courage, and love for others that flows from His Spirit at work in you. He does not want you to live in fear, but in the strength and sound mind He gives.

We pray that God will open new doors for you and your son according to His good plan, and that you will see that a good life in Him is still before you. His plans are for hope and a future, and He is able to lead you step by step as you seek Him first.

May you keep looking to Jesus each day, staying close to His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with faithful believers who can encourage you and walk with you. If you are not already connected to a local church, we encourage you to seek one where you can be supported and cared for.

We are praying for you now:

Father in heaven, we lift this dear mother and her son to You in the name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved. You know her hurts, her memories, her fears about her home, and her longing to be whole. Please heal her broken heart, quiet her anxiety with Your peace, and remind her daily of her value in Christ. Help her to be a present and loving mother, and deepen the bond between her and her son with grace, patience, and joy. Provide for their housing and give her favor tomorrow. Restore her strength and open the doors You have for her future. Let her find her purpose and hope in You alone. Amen.

Please keep us updated, and know that you are not alone. We will continue to keep you and your son in prayer.

Your heart has been heard in this prayer, and I have brought you and your son before the Lord. Feeling drowned, broken into pieces, missing who you once were and missing the closeness you once knew with your daughters is a deep and painful place to be, and God sees that pain.

I want you to know you can go directly to Jesus Himself with all of this. Scripture shows us that when Jesus was told His mother and brothers were outside wanting Him, He pointed to His disciples and said that those who do the will of God are His mother and brothers and sisters. He did not point people to go through His mother to get to Him, and He does not tell us to go through anyone else now. He invites you to come straight to Him, just as you are, and to talk to Him plainly about your fear, your doubt, your housing need, and your longing to be whole. You do not need another intercessor. The Father Himself has invited you, and His Spirit can make it real to your heart that you are His child.

There is also a beautiful truth in what Jesus said about family. The bond we have in Christ is deeper than even natural family ties, and when we belong to Him we are brought into the family of God where Christ is all. That does not remove the ache you feel for your daughters and for your son, but it means you are not alone in that ache. God is able to heal natural family relationships from the inside out, and He also surrounds His people with spiritual family who can love and support them. My prayer is that God will heal the broken places in you and restore the relationship with your son, that He will help you be present with him day by day, and that the years ahead for you both would be marked by closeness, love, laughter, and quiet, happy memories together. May He mend what has been hurt between you and your daughters in His time and way as well.

You asked for prayer about your apartment recertification and the fear of losing your home. Even while He was suffering on the cross, Jesus made careful provision for His mother, telling the disciple He loved to care for her as his own. That same Jesus cares about your practical needs, your home, and your daily security. I have prayed that God will be with you in that meeting, that He will give you favor and peace, and that He will keep a roof over you and your son. Bring your anxiety and uncertainty to Him and ask Him to quiet your heart with His presence.

You spoke of losing yourself through abuse, criticism, and self doubt, and of missing the fearless, outgoing, joyful person you once were. God saw and heard you in that suffering, just as He saw and heard Leah in her affliction and longing for love. He knows the names of your wounds. True healing for your self esteem will not come from trying to rebuild your old self in your own strength, but from coming to the cross where the old self governed life is put to death and a new life ruled by the Spirit is given. The path of following Jesus is a path of letting go of self and being made new in Him, and in that new life He restores joy and confidence not based on what others have said about you, but on who you are in Him. He suffered to provide healing that reaches beyond the spiritual to the whole person, and you can trust Him for that inner healing now. Flesh and blood did not reveal to Peter that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, but the Father in heaven did, and that same Father can reveal His love to you again and rebuild you.

I have prayed that God will lift the doubt, fear, and anxiety that have weighed on you this week, that He will heal your sense of worth and bring back a healthy joy and openness, not as a performance for others but as fruit of His love at work in you. I have prayed that He will open new doors for you and your son and show you that the good life He has for you is still before you and still reachable in Him. He is able to make your path purposeful again as you walk with Him one day at a time.

Father, I bring this dear mother and her son to You in the name of Jesus. You see her brokenness and You hear her cries. Heal what is broken, forgive and cleanse, and make her whole in Christ. Help her to be a present, loving, patient mother, and knit her heart together with her son in deep love and trust. Provide for their home and give favor in this recertification. Calm fear with Your peace, restore hope and joy, and rebuild her confidence in who she is as Your daughter. Lead her through the doors You open and give her a clear sense of purpose in You. Amen.

We want to thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift you before the Lord and bring your heavy heart to Him.

We have been praying specifically that God would heal the broken pieces of you and make you whole again, and that He would restore your joy and your sense of purpose. We have asked Him to heal your self esteem after the abuse and criticism and years of self doubt, and to bring back the fearless and outgoing person you miss, the one who loves people and draws others in. We remember your prayer to be a more present and loving mom to your son and that God would heal and strengthen the bond between you, filling the rest of your days together with closeness, love, happy memories, time and laughter. We have also prayed for your daughters and for the ache you feel over those earlier years together. We prayed for favor over your apartment recertification and that you and your son would not lose your home, and that the doubt, uncertainty, fear and anxiety that filled your week would be replaced by His perfect peace. We have asked that God would open new doors for you and your son and show you that the good life He has for you is still obtainable.

We know you shared that you have been feeling like you are drowning, and we have asked the Lord to lift you up and hold you close, for He is near to the brokenhearted as promised in Psalm 34:18 and He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3. We pray He will renew your strength and restore your hope in Him as He promises in Jeremiah 29:11.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how God has moved, whether in your housing situation, in your relationship with your son, or in bringing healing to your heart. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We want to keep standing with you for complete healing, for provision, for restored relationships and for new joy.

We pray all of this in Jesus name. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
