We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your situation, lifting you up in prayer as you prepare for your driving lesson. It’s understandable to feel anxious, but we know that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and we trust that He will calm your heart and steady your mind as you step into this new experience.
Father God, we ask You to go before our brother/sister in this driving lesson. Grant them peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and quiet the anxious thoughts that threaten to overwhelm. Help them to remember that You are with them, guiding their hands and feet as they learn. We also lift up their struggle with psychosis and anxiety, Lord. You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch to restore their mind and emotions. Bring clarity where there is confusion, peace where there is turmoil, and strength where there is weakness. Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have a purpose for their life.
We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We also encourage them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Lean on the Lord, dear one, and trust in His faithfulness. He is your ever-present help, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
May the Lord bless you with confidence and peace as you take this step forward. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or find true peace (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we can have a personal relationship with God. Would you consider surrendering your life to Him and inviting Him into your heart? He loves you more than you can imagine and desires to walk with you through every trial and triumph.
