Drinking from the cup of the Lord: A personal testimony with Hope for all

I know that the Lord has led me down this path for multiple reasons. Some I have yet to understand...but I trust Him! One thing I know is this: He told me to write this testimony, no matter how hard it was for me to do so. Because if just  one person reading this come to understand HIS truths; to seek His Will above theirs in all things; then my suffering is not in vain. And yes, I believe the Lord will call on us, even to this degree, for the sake of one others soul. THAT is how much He loves us on an individual basis. So our suffering is never in vain, It is for the glory of God and His kingdom. Stay strong brothers and sisters. But never rely on our strength, only on His. If I would have done that, I would already be dead.

As I wrote this, I relived all the pain. I am still recovering from my latest heart attack, which was about 8 hours ago. I feel the Lord led me to share this very personal testimony because so many are giving up hope in Him.
Thank you for sharering ...and may the Lord keep reveling his love to you

"Thank you for sharing. Testimony of God's love is best expressed

when we fully realize, how our love of God inspires us in ways that

simply has to be lived. Perseverance in striving for patience and trust

in God in all things shall one day be rewarded, most likely in ways we

never thought of. It must be learned selfish self centeredness shall always

be a hindrance of experiencing God's 'presence'. Expecting something

for nothing shall be futile. Being ungrateful for what one does have is

a mockery unto God. So long as materialistic things are priority, the

Holy Spirit shall be vacant. Thank you Lord for the testimony of one

that shares from the heart."

Thank you for your kind words. I agree with all that you have said. The saddest thing for me is when some one "commands" God to answer their prayer as they want because they either do not understand His Word or they personally interpret His Word to fit their expectations, And the ungratefulness for all that the Lord has already done in their lives. God cannot and will not be mocked in such ways. And His Will for us cannot and will not be be subject to what WE want. We must seek of the Lord what His will for each of us is and align our prayers with Him and His Will.  God bless you.

Suffering! As believers, this can be a difficult thing to study and acknowledge in all of our lives. We need to understand that we will ALL suffer as believers at some point, or points, in our lives. And we should never blame God for it; that He is not faithful to His Word; that He doesn't hear...
