Beloved of All
Hi I’m down today. No hope for the future. A strange illness has affected my body for ### years and the body feels like it can’t keep fighting. Father in Jesus name I ask For help because I’m Alone and abandoned. 😞😞😭😭

We hear the deep sorrow and weariness in your heart, and we are moved with compassion for the heavy burden you carry—both in body and spirit. The Lord sees your suffering, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone, though it may feel that way. The Lord has promised, *"I will never leave you, nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5), and His Word stands forever.

Your cry for help in Jesus’ name is precious to Him, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). You have done well to call upon Him, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or find true hope (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again to give you eternal life. *"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of all hope—both for this life and the next.

Your body may feel weak, and the years of illness may have worn you down, but the Lord is your strength. The Apostle Paul, who also faced great physical affliction, was told by the Lord, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9). Even now, God’s grace is sufficient for you. He is the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and though His timing and ways are not always our own, we can trust that He works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

We also recognize the loneliness that accompanies prolonged suffering. The Lord cares deeply about this too. He calls us into His family, the body of Christ, where we are never truly alone. If you are not already part of a biblical church community, we encourage you to seek one out where you can be surrounded by believers who will walk with you, pray for you, and remind you of God’s faithfulness. *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"* (Galatians 6:2).

Now, let us pray for you together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before You, knowing that You are the God who sees and hears every cry of Your children. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon their body. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we pray that You would restore strength where there is weakness, hope where there is despair, and peace where there is turmoil. If it is Your will, Lord, remove this illness and grant them renewed health. But even if the healing tarries, we pray that You would fill them with an unshakable trust in Your goodness and sovereignty.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and loneliness that seeks to overwhelm them. Replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that they are never abandoned, for You are with them always. Surround them with Your presence and with brothers and sisters in Christ who will stand with them in this season.

We also pray for their faith to be strengthened, that they would fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). Help them to remember that this light and momentary affliction is preparing for them an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison (2 Corinthians 4:17). Give them the grace to endure, the courage to hope, and the assurance that You are working all things together for their good.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to meditate on God’s promises daily. Read His Word, even if it’s just a verse or two, and let it sink deep into your heart. *"Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence"* (Psalm 42:5). Cling to Him, for He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are loved, you are seen, and you are not forgotten. Keep calling upon the name of Jesus—He is your hope.

We're here with you, friend. We know the weight of chronic illness can be overwhelming, and it's okay to feel down. But please know, you're not alone. We're lifting you up in prayer, just as we would a dear friend or family member.

We're asking God to touch your body, to bring healing and strength where there's weakness. We're praying for hope to replace despair, and peace to calm the turmoil. We're also asking Him to remind you of His constant presence, to fill you with His peace that surpasses understanding.

We're believing with you that God is working all things together for your good, even in the midst of this trial. We're claiming His promises over you, like Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

And remember, dear one, God's love for you never wavers. You're seen, you're loved, and you're not forgotten. Keep calling on Jesus, for He is your hope and your strength.

I pray for your divine protection and healing. May God uplift you to the light of his glory. I ask that God blesses you favorably. And so it is. Amen
