Beloved of All
I am so weary. I’ve been thrigh all kinds of verbal abuse from eork and so called family and friends I left mmthe abusive workplace only to wind up in a deeper valley snd in stkrrears. I have an Sposslnheading for rental arrears and I’m waiting for a new date. Father I’m fired. Can you please make a way in Jesus name no jobs open was mobbed by 30 people at my previous job

We hear your cry, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. The weariness you feel is not unknown to our Lord, He too was despised, rejected, and acquainted with sorrow (Isaiah 53:3). The verbal abuse you’ve endured, whether from workplace, family, or friends, is a grievous burden, but we stand with you in the truth that God sees every injustice and will repay (Romans 12:19). You are not forgotten, nor are you abandoned.

First, we must address the weight of your exhaustion with the promise of Scripture: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Jesus does not offer temporary relief but deep, soul-restoring peace. The valley you’re in, financial strain, rental arrears, and the uncertainty of your next steps, is not the end of your story. God is the One who makes a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19). The mobbing you endured at your previous job was a violation of your dignity, but we declare that God will restore what was stolen from you (Joel 2:25). He is your defender and provider.

We also rebuke the spirit of despair that seeks to overwhelm you. The enemy wants you to believe that the doors are permanently closed, but we serve a God who "opens doors that no one can shut" (Revelation 3:8). Your current circumstances do not define your future. We pray that God would not only open a door for employment but also surround you with godly community, believers who will uplift you, pray for you, and stand with you in truth. The "so-called" family and friends who have added to your pain must be released to God’s judgment. Do not carry their offenses; instead, entrust them to the Lord, who judges righteously (1 Peter 2:23).

Now, we must gently address a matter of your wording: you mentioned praying to the "Father" but did not invoke the name of Jesus in your request. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life fully to Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and believing in His resurrection (Romans 10:9). He is the only way to true peace, eternal security, and the strength to endure this season.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding for our weary sibling. Lord, You see every tear, every closed door, and every unjust word spoken against them. We ask that You would be their refuge and strength, a very present help in this time of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and declare that Your light will break through this darkness. Open a door for employment that no man can shut, and provide for their needs in ways that only You can. Heal their heart from the wounds of abuse and betrayal, and replace bitterness with Your peace.

Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly counsel and community, believers who will speak life into them and hold them accountable. Give them wisdom to navigate this season and the strength to wait on You. We declare that You are their provider, and we trust that You will not leave them in lack. Restore what has been stolen, and let Your justice prevail in every area of their life. Above all, draw them closer to You, that they may know You more deeply and trust You more fully.

We pray for their rental arrears, asking that You would move on the heart of their landlord or provide another solution. Let Your favor go before them in every interaction. And Lord, if there is any unforgiveness or bitterness in their heart, soften it and replace it with Your love. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters (Psalm 23:2). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, for He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). We encourage you to seek out a local church body where you can find support, prayer, and encouragement. If you do not have a Bible, we urge you to get one, it is the living Word of God and will be a lamp to your feet in this dark time (Psalm 119:105).

Lastly, if the weight of this season feels unbearable, please reach out to someone you trust or a biblical counselor. You do not have to carry this alone. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and so are we. Stand firm in faith, for your breakthrough is coming.

Thank you for sharing this with us. We can only imagine how tired you must be right now, carrying the weight of verbal abuse, the loss of your job, and the pressure of rental arrears. It takes real courage to leave a workplace where you were mistreated, and it’s completely normal to feel even more drained when the next valley feels deeper than the last. Please know you’re not alone, and we are standing with you in prayer.

The exhaustion you describe is so common after prolonged verbal abuse; it wears down your spirit and makes every other burden feel heavier. You did the brave thing by stepping away, even if it doesn’t feel like it yet. Sometimes after a brave step, circumstances get harder before they get clearer, but that doesn’t mean you’ve failed. You’re in the middle of a hard transition, and God sees you right there.

One concrete step that might help: if you haven’t already, reach out to a local church or a Christian community service. Many have practical resources, rental assistance programs, job-placement networks, or simply someone who can sit with you while you sort out the next move. You don’t have to figure this out alone; there are people ready to walk alongside you.

Jesus, we lift up our friend who is so weary. You know the pain of harsh words and the fear of unpaid bills. Please hold them close and give them deep rest tonight. Make a way where doors seem shut, guide them to the right job and to the help they need for the rent. Surround them with safe, supportive people, and restore their hope and energy. In Your name, Amen.

The dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and you too have scanned the horizon only to see shut doors and deepening waters. The workplace closed its gate, and now the rental arrears loom like a great flood. You are a bird of the weary wing, and your soul is ready to drop. Yet hear this: He is not weary of you. The hand that held Noah’s window open for that fluttering, soiled dove is the same hand stretched out to you in Christ Jesus. When every earthly door is bolted and barred, remember the word, “I am the door.” Men may mob you, employers may cast you out, and friends may wound with their tongues, but Jesus stands open, and no man can shut Him.

You speak of a deeper valley and stern arrears. Is not the Valley of Achor itself a door of hope? There, where trouble first camps, God gives vineyards. The place of your present humiliation may be the very spot where He commands provision. He has a way in the wilderness you cannot trace. Did He not declare, “I will bring them, and they shall come, and they shall not stumble”? The same sovereign “I will” that broke Pharaoh’s grip and shattered Babylon’s gates is not grown feeble now. He can make a way where no job opens and no human help appears. Wait on Him, even when the missive of sorrow has come to your door. We are all of us waiting till our own summons arrives, but until then, the door into His mercy stands wide.

You are fired and weary. Come then and sit with Mary a while; cease from the encumbered serving of your anxieties and listen at His feet. The Lord is pacified toward His people through the blood of the everlasting covenant. When you remember your own sin and shame, you may feel you should never open your mouth again; yet it is precisely when you are silenced that He speaks peace. Do not pry behind the curtain of tomorrow, for that belongs to the shadow of death. Only trust the Door that is Christ. He shall save; you shall go in and out and find pasture. Though you fly with wet wing over a filthy flood, He will receive you, cleanse you, and give you rest. Cast yourself upon Him who gathers the outcasts and leads the blind by a way they knew not. He will not fail you now.

You speak of closed doors and weariness, but examine well whether the doors of your heart are shut in the way that pleases God. For when He commanded us to enter the closet and shut the door, He sought not merely the shutting of wood and stone, but the closing of the mind against vainglory, against the noise of worldly cares that scatter the soul in prayer. If you cry out from a heart still flung open to resentment over every insult, the door does you no good. God attends to the intention. Is your prayer a place where you nurse the memory of wrongs, where you let the mouth be a door swinging open to the blast of indignation? When you were reviled at work and by those called family, did you shut your mouth? For if someone insults you and you open your mouth in retaliation, you add force to the wind. But if you shut that door, the whole blast is quenched within you. This is how we stop quenching the Spirit. The gift of grace is a lamp: earthly cares are like dust cast upon it, and the violent wind of temptation enters through the unguarded eye and ear and mouth. Close these openings with the fear of God, and the lamp will yet give light even in a dark valley.

Now you find yourself in arrears, fired, mobbed by many, as though every door is shut. But consider the apostles: they were put in the common prison, the doors secured, guards standing by. Men saw the prison closed fast, yet an angel of the Lord opened those doors and brought them forth to speak in the temple. The deliverance was hidden from sight, yet the proof was undeniable. Did they then sink under the weight of repeated injustices? No. They returned to speak the word of life. So do not stare so fixedly at the doors that seem closed against your employment and your dwelling. God often works when things appear most impossible, that we might trust not in man’s opening but in His power. Yet He also bids us examine what we call family and friends: shameless association with those who defile the soul with abuse is like throwing open the doors of a house to every wind of wickedness. Guard your soul, which is more precious than anything else. Do not let the adulterers of wrath and despair company with it until they are sated.

Therefore pray, but not as one merely listing losses. Shut the doors of the mind against the vain thoughts that replay every injury. Fasten the door of the mouth against complaint that accuses God’s providence. The mystery of His help is often celebrated with closed doors to the uninitiated, because the many are not yet prepared to see. He has not hidden the times and preludes from you; He has told you that trials are near, even at the doors, but the exact day of your deliverance He has kept silent, that you might always watch. If you seek a way in Jesus’ name, then bring no earthly fire of bitterness into that prayer. He will open doors in His season, but seek first that the door of your heart be shut to all that quenches the Spirit. Then, whether He opens a new job or sustains you without one, you will find that no prison can hold the soul that lives in the fear of God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
