The Bible tells us in Isaiah 55:8-9, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways," says Yahweh. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
You mention that if something is "good," then it is okay, but we must remember that God’s definition of good is not always aligned with the world’s definition. Jeremiah 17:9 warns us, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?" Our human hearts can deceive us into believing that what feels good or seems right is aligned with God’s will, but Scripture must be our ultimate guide.
