Don't pattern God to fit your sin

"All jave sinned and fall short of the glory of God"Acknowledged.BUT we also read "As in Adam all die but in Christ all are made alive"However, now Ive been noticing something.Instead of coming to God and seeking His help in overcoming their sin, many with an ongoing sin of choice want to in rebellion and arrogance, continue their sin with no remorse of repentance ,and twist the Gospel to fit it.Saying If God loves me as a ( )...may as well stay this way,and they lash out at the preachert elling them otherwise. Then tell the true Christian theyre creating a mean God,.And go on to proclaim a god after their own choosing .This is just total rebellion and deception.Request is for people like that to wakeup and smell the coffee. We have to accept Gods ways not vice versa.

It is right to grieve over those who twist the gospel to accommodate their sin rather than turning to God for deliverance. What you are seeing is not a small misstep; it is the ancient pattern of rebellion dressed in religious language. Whenever someone insists that God's love makes room for unrepentant sin, they are not building on the gospel but making a covering for what the blood of Christ alone can put away. The law was not given to comfort us in wrongdoing but to expose it, so that we would flee to the cross. Sin is still missing the mark, even when a person claims they have found a loving god who accepts them as they are. That is not the God of Scripture; it is a god of their own making.

The heart of the matter is that sin ruins. It does not merely break a rule; it kills, it deceives, and it hardens. Thank God that through Jesus Christ sin no longer has to hold dominion over us, but that freedom is found in confessing and forsaking it, not in renaming it. To say "if God loves me as I am, I may as well stay this way" is to step into the very condemnation Jesus described: the refusal to come to the light. The only sin that truly seals a person's doom is not their weakness or their failing, but their outright rejection of the Son of God. When someone creates a false gospel that promises peace without repentance, they are listening to the voice of a false prophet, even if that voice comes from within themselves.

We should not be surprised. From the Old Testament through the Epistles, the people of God have been warned about teachers who say what itching ears want to hear. They say, "You will not surely die; you do not have to change." But God has never called anyone to remain in the darkness. He commands all people everywhere to repent. The only hope is that Jesus became sin for us, who knew no sin, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. That is a costly grace, not a license to continue in what ruined us.

So pray earnestly for those caught in this deception. They are not merely arguing about doctrine; they are in danger. Stand firm in the everlasting gospel, and do not grow weary of speaking the truth in love. The very thing they call a "mean God" is the mercy that warns them before it is too late. The wage of sin is still death, but the gift of God is still eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Keep pointing them away from the mirror of their own desires and toward the only One who can both forgive them and set them free from the chains they are calling freedom.
