Beloved of All
To ### and all those that promised to help now on these urgent matters asap that ### and all respond asap Lord To this younger friend that keeps pursuing and need good healing rest now. In Jesus name.

We hear the urgency and the deep longing in your heart for healing and rest for this younger friend who keeps pursuing, yet seems to be in need of true peace. First, we want to acknowledge the sincerity of your prayer, you have rightly invoked the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the healing and rest we so desperately need. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). We stand with you in this moment, lifting this dear one up before the throne of grace.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. We lift up this younger friend who is pursuing, yet weary and in need of Your healing touch and rest. Lord, You promise in Your Word, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). We ask that You draw this precious soul to Yourself, that they may find true rest in You alone. Heal their heart, mind, and body, Lord. Remove any weariness, anxiety, or pain that they carry. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also sense a plea for those who have promised to help but may not yet have followed through. Lord, we ask that You stir the hearts of those who have committed to stand alongside this friend. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they will reap if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Give them the strength, wisdom, and compassion to act swiftly and faithfully, as You would have them do.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of delay or distraction that may be hindering this help from coming forth. We declare that Your timing is perfect, and we trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We pray that this friend would not lose heart but would continue to seek You above all else. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We also want to gently address the pursuit this friend is engaged in. Lord, we ask that You reveal to them what they are truly pursuing. Are they seeking fulfillment in things of this world, or are they seeking You? "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). If their pursuit is not aligned with Your will, we ask that You redirect their steps and their heart toward You. Let them find their satisfaction and purpose in You alone, for You are the only source of true fulfillment.

We pray for protection over this friend, Lord. Guard their heart and mind from the lies of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Surround them with Your angels and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your truth and light. Let them experience the fullness of life that You came to give.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would bring godly mentors, friends, and counsel into this friend’s life. Let them be surrounded by those who will speak Your truth in love, encourage them in their faith, and walk alongside them in their journey. May they find a community that reflects Your love and grace, where they can grow and thrive in You.

We declare these things in the powerful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

We hear that overwhelmed, not-knowing-what-to-say place, and we’re right there with you. When urgent needs pile up and someone we care about is running themselves ragged, the pressure to find perfect words can feel heavy. But we’ve seen that ministry doesn’t begin with having all the answers, it often starts simply in staying near and quietly carrying someone to Jesus in prayer. God’s strength shows up in our very weakness, not in our scripted speeches; just being present and listening is its own kind of healing.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do for a younger friend who keeps pursuing, maybe answers, relief, or even us, is to not rush in with fixes, but to stand steadily with them in their exhaustion and pray for the deep rest only Christ can give. That rest might also mean gently helping them see when pursuit itself needs to be laid down, so healing can begin.

For those who promised to help in the urgent matters, we join you in asking God to stir their hearts to act without further delay. And we trust that while we wait, God has not forgotten.

Let’s pray:

Jesus, you know every tangled detail here. Bring swift responses from those who said they would help. Surround our friend’s younger friend with your peace that stills the frantic chase and gives real rest, body, mind, and spirit. Give wisdom in every conversation, and when words fail us, let your love speak louder through our presence. We lean on you, our Wonderful Counselor. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You know not what to say, and that is often the best beginning, for when we are empty of words, the Lord can fill our mouths. The very burden you bring, that you cannot find words, is a sign that you are ready to rest upon words not your own, words solid enough and reliable enough to build a soul upon. And what words are those? They are words that urge you to faith in God. Has He not said, “Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass”? That is a promise upon which you may safely rest.

Now, these urgent matters and those who promised to help, do not let your heart be tied to the swift answer of man. Often the Lord delays that we may learn to rest in motion, to wait with the yoke upon our shoulders. It is good for a man to bear the yoke in his youth, for it teaches obedience and drives us to the only Friend who never forgets His promises. Christ is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother; He is the Best Friend, your own Friend and your father's Friend. Forsake not Him. If mortal helpers tarry, go to Him who is always near. He bids you come, not to some earthly arm, but to Himself, saying, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

As for that younger friend who keeps pursuing and needs healing rest, speak to him of Jesus, the sinner’s Friend. There is no true rest for the soul apart from taking Christ’s yoke and learning of Him. If he is restless in sin or chasing after what cannot satisfy, point him to the leaves of the tree of life which are for the healing of the nations. Even a single page of Scripture, a single promise laid hold of by faith, can begin that cure. But oh, be sure to give him words whereon he may safely rest, not the soft nothings of the world, but the solid truth that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. And if you yourself feel sick at heart over this matter, do not forget that the leaves are for you as well. You have the fullest leave to come and be healed.

You see, it is not in the abundance of words that help is found, but in resting upon the Word made flesh. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Whether the answer comes quickly or tarries, trust Him still. Prayer is not overcome by silence; it is in the silence that we hear the sound of abundance of rain. I charge you, then, lay the whole tangle before your Friend, and then rest, rest even while you labor, rest in service, rest on the wing, for that is the rest Jesus gives. He will not desert you. He proved Himself the sinner’s Friend all His life long, and He will prove it in your life too.

You ask for swift response from those who promised help, and for your younger friend who pursues and needs healing rest. Do not be anxious when human aid delays. God often waits that we might turn to Him with greater urgency. The disciples wished to hinder the Lord from going to Lazarus, but He declared the necessity of acting when love demands it.

So too, if this pursuit is of an earthly or harmful thing, be not reluctant to intervene with truth spoken in love. A friend is more longed for than light: a true friend does not merely comfort but corrects, not letting another wander into sin unchallenged. What fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? Yet while you pray for help, you yourself must be watchful.

If we sleep, the prayers of others will profit us nothing when we do not stir ourselves. Do not say, What need have I of prayer? Even Paul asked for prayers. But do not place yourself in a situation to rely solely on others while neglecting your own vigilance.

As for rest, find it in the lowly heart of Christ. The world’s pursuits offer only turmoil; learn of Him who is meek, and you shall find rest for your souls. Urge your younger friend toward this rest, not the rest of idleness, but the healing that comes from repentance and turning to the Lord. Pray without ceasing, and act with the boldness of love, for brother aided by brother becomes a fortified city.

The weight of not knowing what to say can be heavy, but that very pressure can drive us straight to the place where words matter less and trust matters more. When your mind is racing and urgent requests pile up, the deepest need is often not the perfect response but the quiet rest that belongs to all who stop striving and lean fully on the finished work of Jesus. He has already secured everything your heart is grasping for; your part now is to believe and enter into that rest.

For this younger friend who keeps pursuing and longs for healing rest, the most faithful thing you can offer is the truth that healing and peace are not found anywhere except in him. Jesus himself bore our sicknesses and carried our pains, and his invitation is not to try harder but to come to him with all that weariness. Real rest comes when we cease from our own efforts and simply trust that he has done it all. That doesn’t mean every physical healing happens instantly, but it does mean the soul can lie down in safety, unafraid, even while the body waits. The Lord hears your cry for an answer; let your own heart settle here first, because you cannot pass on what you haven’t received yourself.

When you do speak to this friend, remember that a true companion loves at all times and offers honest, healing words rather than the easy comforts that look kind but change nothing. Wounds from a friend can be trusted when the goal is real restoration. Gently point this younger person away from restless chasing and toward the rest that belongs to God’s people. Treat them with the purity and care you would show a sister or brother, while refusing to prop up any path that runs against God’s design for wholeness. And when you have done what you can, commit the outcome into the Lord’s hands. You cannot command the timing or the way he moves, but you can trust that he will work in the situation far better than your anxiety ever could. That is where your thoughts are established and your heart can finally be still.

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us by sharing your heartfelt prayer request. It’s been a privilege to stand with you in prayer these past few days, lifting up your younger friend who is in need of healing and rest, and asking the Lord to move urgently on behalf of those who promised to help. We’ve been interceding before the throne of grace, asking God to stir hearts, open doors, and bring swift answers according to His perfect will.

As you continue to wait, we encourage you to hold fast to faith, trusting that the Lord hears every cry and sees every need. If you’ve seen His hand move in this situation—whether through provision, peace, or a breakthrough—we would love to celebrate with you and give Him all the glory. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in His faithfulness.

If, however, the answers haven’t yet come, don’t lose heart. We invite you to post this request again as a new prayer need, and we will continue to stand in agreement with you, believing God for His timing and His best. Keep seeking Him with all your heart, knowing that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

May the Lord bless you with His peace that surpasses all understanding as you wait on Him. May He strengthen your faith and remind you that He is working even when you can’t see it. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

It’s really hard when your wife is committing adultery and you are trying to keep the family together and you are too old to start over and have nowhere to go and hoping God will make it stop but nothing happens. I just don’t know what to do. I would appreciate any prayers.
