Don't be a fan of death

I believe in life.It was given to us by God.But it appears I'm vastly outnumbered.Because in the unsaved world, it seems choosing death over life with the ingrained belief that death is an "escape" seems to be "the thing". The most recent case that reminded me of this is with my mother, who made a decision to choose suicide. No, not by holding a gun to her head, but by withholding lifesaving treatment. She has kidney issues and needs dialysis.Because she has pain also, she's been clamoring from the beginning to get off it it so she can die. And it looks like she's finally going to get her way. Also, although to me this is a form of suicide, all the others--my sister, brother in law and aunt, are cheering her on to kill herself this way.I'm the only one who seems to think that one should die in their own time, not hasten it to avoid things. But it wasn't just this, even from before when the pain wasn't "as" bad,she was saying that death is an escape and starting to chose it over life.Furthermore, this is far from a unique case--it seems almost every unsaved person I've heard speak on this , if someone has any problem, others back the person to go ahead and kill themselves. Choosing death over life. The unsaved think death is some kind of "great escape" from problems. This is escapism, plain and simple.Let's see how much of an escape it is when they wake up in Hell for eternity. {But that's what the devil wants, that's why he encourages them to kill themselves BEFORE getting saved.}That's probably why he planted this love of death in unsaved people.Self destruction. What the Bible ACTUALLY says is that death is an enemy, brought about by sin.Not an escape, like a vacation paradise.Well..?Also, in Revelation we read,"And death will be no more."We escape FROM death, not TO it.So why are unsaved people such fans of death? You tell me.

Mercy killing is a sin. The bible clearly says that we should never ever kill anyone for any reason at all. Those who kill babies thinking they are just a ball of blood and nothing else they will live a life of guilt in their souls knowing that they put away babies to death for no reason at all. Sorry, to hear your mother went through such an ordeal. All we have to do is fast and pray for those who suffer untold pain with cancer, diabetes, HIV and now the Corona Virus. God has a reason for sending deseases of all kinds to us. All we have to do is to ask for mercy and compassion. Jesus saw a paralitic man. He was not able to walk and wanted to ge healed. Jesus, full of love and compassion said. Son, your sins are forgiven. Mark 21.12 Immediately the man was healed. Praise the Lord. We should not be a fan of death. We should not desire that people would die nor suffer untold pain. Let us all give to God all glory and all praise. He give us life and He will take away from us. All I want to do and see is Jesus smiling face, waiting for me at the gates of heaven.
Thank you for being the only person besides me who realizes that

I go by what THE BIBLE says

I too go by the Word of God. Is This Not the Word of God? 1 Corinthians 15:54-55 (NKJV): So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?”

It is comforting to know that death is not the end for those who believe. Those who know Jesus as Savior will have eternal life. God has prepared a new home for us where there will be no more death, tears, or pain (Rev. 21:1-4).

Our days are numbered. Our times are in God’s hands (Psalm 3:15a). God knows the number of our days and months. We cannot live longer than the time God has set (Job 14:5). Before we had even seen our first day or taken our first breath, God had already written in His book of life the number of our days (Psalm 139:16). For in God we live, move and have our being (Acts 17:28a). God created all things, and only by God’s will, do we exist (Rev. 4:11).

The operative words are,"For those who believe".I'm talking about a certain mindset UNBELIEVERS have who think death is an escape,. I believe it's the devil putting these things in their heads,so they can die before salvation, and go to hell.I think they're just misled.

I always ask in prayer, Lord, give me wisdom from heaven to understand those things we cannot see or hear. Help us to understand why people want to die sooner rather than wait for God to decide when He is gona call them home to heaven. If you mother is unsaved, then, fast and pray for her to get right with God and then enter into the glorious presence of Jesus. The thief on the cross got saved when he believed Jesus is the Savior and Lord of all.

The devil, who decieves the whole world was a liar and murderer from the beginning. His first lie was to initiate the first murder, why would he change his m.o.? Too many scriptures to look up — Gen, John, 1 John & Revelation...

Suicide is an unforgivable sin because you don’t have ability to repent of it — you are ending that option for yourself — beware of “think happy thoughts” belief systems that are “nicer than the Bible” and “nicer than Jesus” — it says of Judas, “this man went to his own place” — Judas was not a sacrifice by the way — woe to him, a lover of money the Gospels prove him to have been, he didn’t repent but hung himself instead...

Put all your trust in the Lord. If death knocks your door, then Jesus Himself will take you to your heavenly home in glory. That is His promise.

Suicide is not an unforgivable sin. Nowhere in the Bible says that. God is not going to condemn any of "His" children who are "truly" saved to hell. He knows when His children have emotional problems and the only way out that they see is suicide. Suicide is not the answer, God is the answer. God knew they were going to commit suicide. Nothing catches God by surprise.

Romans 10:13 - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
John 10:28 - And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand.

Is Suicide the Unforgivable Sin?

While suicide is a sin, It is NOT the unforgivable sin. (There is only one unforgivable sin and it is rejecting Jesus. Read: What is the unpardonable (unforgivable) sin? What if I commit it?) Suicide is the taking of human life. It is a self-inflicted murder. However, just like any sin, it also has been paid for by Jesus. Jesus died to pay for ALL sins. And for those who belong to Him, all their sins are forgiven.

Therefore, if you are missing a friend, relative, or loved one who had been redeemed and regenerated by Jesus but committed suicide, their sin did not condemn them. Every one of the believer’s sins were paid for by Jesus on the cross. When Jesus saved the person, the person received God’s forgiveness for every sin (past, present, and future), including the final sin of suicide. Jesus has promised that He has prepared a place for those who belong to Him and that He will come to receive them unto Himself (John 14:1-4). This was not a conditional promise. Jesus promised that no one can take one of His own out of His hand (John 10:28). That means that no sin a redeemed person commits will cause them to lose their eternal salvation. No one who belongs to Jesus will ever perish.

For a person who does not belong to Jesus and commits suicide, they face the consequences of dying in unforgiven sin. God will judge them accordingly. While God can forgive all sins, He cannot overlook any sin. All sin must be paid for. And if someone dies in their sin, they are already condemned.

John 3:18 “He who believes in [Jesus] is not condemned [they have been forgiven and given the righteousness of Christ]; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (bracketed information added)

Well yes...but that's my point about them thinking of death as an "escape", the devil is deceiving them. They're playing with fire.

I hear most unsaved people talk, and they think death is the solution to certain problems. When one of their loved ones is in a bad physical situation, right away they start talking about "withdrawing treatment" and "letting them go" already.Hospices are big business, and them and their "fans" are...
