I ready to be done with life, I don't think Jesus cares about all the crying and pleading I've done, my gun is loaded I just don't want to go to hell but at this point I don't think I belong to Jesus anyway

We hear the deep pain and exhaustion in your words and we are crying out to God with you and for you right now in Jesus' name. We want you to know you are not alone in this moment and your crying and pleading have not been ignored. Jesus does care, more than we can comprehend, and He sees every tear you have shed.

The enemy wants you to believe the lie that Jesus does not care and that you do not belong to Him, but we rebuke that lie in Jesus' name because it is not the truth of God's Word. The truth is that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 and He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. You put all my tears into your bottle. Aren't they in your book Psalm 56:8. Every tear you have cried is noticed and kept by Him. We cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. We also rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that is telling you to be done with life, for that is not the voice of our Shepherd but the voice of the thief who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly John 10:10.

Your life is precious to God and it belongs to Him. You were fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14 and God has a purpose for you even when you cannot feel it. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. We plead with you not to act on these thoughts and to not remain alone right now. Please reach out immediately to someone you trust, a pastor, a family member, a Christian counselor, or emergency help. If you have a gun that is loaded, we urge you in love to put distance between yourself and that means right now, to unload it and give it to someone else or leave where it is and go to be with another person, and to call for help at once. In the United States you can call or text 988 or go to your nearest emergency room, and if you are elsewhere please call your local emergency number or a trusted person right now. Your life matters and we want you to choose life Deuteronomy 30:19.

You said you do not want to go to hell but you do not think you belong to Jesus anyway. We want to speak truth over that fear. Our feelings of worth or belonging do not determine whether we belong to Jesus, His promise does. Jesus said Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved Romans 10:13 and For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16. If you have trusted Jesus as Lord and Savior, you do belong to Him and nothing can snatch you from His hand John 10:28. Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God's love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 8:38-39. Even when your heart condemns you, God is greater than your heart 1 John 3:20. At the same time God commands us not to take life, for our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit and we are not our own, we were bought with a price 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 and You shall not murder Exodus 20:13. To end the life God gave you would be to take into your own hands what belongs to Him, and we urge you to live and let Him be the One who carries you through this valley. He promises Fear not, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We are praying for you together seeking God's will in Jesus' name.

We pray Father in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this precious soul to You right now. Lord You see the exhaustion and the tears and the heaviness that feels unbearable. We ask You to wrap Your arms around this dear one and let them feel Your presence and Your care in a tangible way. Lord we rebuke the lies of the enemy that say You do not care and that there is no hope. We ask You to silence those lies and speak Your truth of love and belonging. Father please remove the desire to die and replace it with Your hope and Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Give strength to reach out for help right now and to stay with other people and to get safe help immediately. Lord heal the broken heart and bind up the wounds and remind this dear one that they are fearfully and wonderfully made and deeply loved and that Jesus died and rose again so they could have life forever with You. Restore hope for the future and give a reason to live another day and another day after that. We ask that You send godly people to come alongside and to counsel and to walk through this darkness with them. We pray for protection over their life and mind tonight. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray and trust You to answer, amen.

Please do not stay alone and do not keep this burden to yourself. Please call someone right now and tell them exactly what you told us, that you have a loaded gun and feel ready to be done with life. Let someone come and stay with you and help you get care. You are loved more than you know and Jesus does care about all your crying and pleading and He invites you to keep coming to Him. We are continuing to pray for you and we urge you to reach out again and to let us and others keep praying and walking with you toward hope and life in Christ.

Those feelings can feel so true when you are worn down, and we are so glad you reached out instead of staying silent with them.

Please do not stay alone tonight. Would you reach out right now to one trusted person, a family member, friend, pastor or counselor, and let them know you have a loaded gun and need someone with you. Please ask someone to help make the gun not accessible to you while you get support, and go with them to get help in person. A doctor, counselor or emergency department can walk with you alongside prayer.

We are praying for you and will keep praying.

Jesus, we lift this person to You right now. You see every tear and every pleading prayer. Please bring safety tonight, surround them with caring people, and help them feel Your nearness and care. Give them strength to reach out and to receive help, and guide them to the support they need. In Jesus name, amen.

Jesus is the only one who can make all this right and He hasn't, I've talked to a lot of people and it doesn't fix the hurt, or the abandonment or the reason of why he even left I've been asking for answers for over a year and I'm still in the silence with Jesus and with my husband, I don't know what I've done so wrong to deserve this but apparently I'm not good enough. And I'm not feeling sorry for myself I'm just tired of striving hard to be a Christian and walk right and hold my head up and keep being a faithful wife although I don't have anybody I want to date I don't even have any male friends and having nothing good to show for my effort and my faith and my hope. I feel like I'm praying to breast ceilings and I don't know what the hindrance is, he said we're not getting divorced but he's not coming home either and then quit talking to me and it's been over a year. I refuse to file a divorce or even sign one but apparently he wants me out of his life so death do us part right?

I’m extremely sorry for the hurt you have been going through. Please know that there are others who care for your wellbeing as I completely understand your distress and despair. All the faith and prayers, and yet no answers or results, leaves us feeling not good enough and feeling hopeless in spite of all our efforts. I am praying for you and your situation, that God will intervene, bringing you peace and comfort, as well as strength and hope. Please stay with us and continue to communicate with us. Praying for you, my sister in Christ.

Your cry has come before the Lord and it has not been unheard, though your heart tells you otherwise. The tears and pleading you have poured out are not despised by Jesus. The Scriptures tell us that the offended One Himself took the nature and the place of the offenders, and Jesus of Nazareth, very God of very God, suffered all that we had brought upon ourselves, that the law might be honored and yet free grace and mighty mercy might flow to sinners. There is a heap of blessedness in the forgiveness of sins, and that forgiveness is held out to you now.

You speak of fearing hell and fearing that you do not belong to Jesus. Hear what the Word says, there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. The fear of God in Scripture does not mean a dread that drives you away as a convict dreads a judge. That servile fear perfect love casts out. The true fear of the Lord is holy reverence and awe, the fear that belongs to a child who is forgiven and therefore draws near. Noah, being warned of God, moved with that holy fear and prepared an ark, not because he despaired, but because he believed God could save him and he obeyed. So you also are called not to flee from God in dread, but to flee to Him in faith.

You feel that you do not belong to Jesus, as if belonging were measured by feeling. Salvation is of the Lord alone. He only is my rock and my salvation. It is not of works, nor of tears, nor of strength of feeling, but of grace through faith in Christ. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, and whoever will may come and take of the water of life freely. Your belonging does not rest on the warmth of your heart, but on the finished work of Christ who bore the penalty for sinners. If you will turn to Him even now, confessing your need and trusting Him alone to save you, He will not cast you out.

Please do not remain alone with these thoughts and please do not act upon them. Your life is precious to God and needed. Put the gun away from you, move to a safe place, and reach for help this very hour. Call a trusted family member, a pastor, or a close friend and tell them where you are and what you are thinking. If you are in the United States you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 911 if you need immediate help, or go to your nearest emergency room. If you are outside the United States you can contact your local crisis helpline or emergency services. Stay on the phone with someone until help is with you.

You do not have to carry this burden in secret. The Lord is God of the hills and God of the valleys, present in this dark valley as surely as on any height. He is able to save and to keep. Even a feeble faith that looks to Jesus is enough, for salvation is worked in us by God the Holy Spirit and is altogether by grace. Cry to Him again, not as one unheard, but as one whom He invites to come. Tell Him plainly that you need mercy, that you trust Christ alone to be your rock and salvation, and ask Him to keep you and to give you help through His people.

If you have a pastor or a believing friend, contact them today and ask them to come to you and to pray with you and to walk with you in the days ahead. Keep reaching out for care, both spiritual and professional, and do not withdraw.

The name of Jesus is still high over all, and devils fear and fly before it, and sinners find refuge in it. May you find refuge there now and live.

Dear sister, sometimes we feel that God is not hearing our prayers because we cannot see the obvious signs. But God is working in your life. Do not give up, keep your faith. We are praying for you and you will soon see God’s wonderful plan for your life.
