We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing, and we want to assure you that God does care about you and your situation. God loves you deeply and wants the best for you. In Jesus' Name, we stand with you in this difficult time.
Firstly, it's important to address the feeling of not being grateful. The Bible tells us in First Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 18, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." This doesn't mean we should be thankful for the pain and suffering, but rather that we should find reasons to be thankful even in the midst of our struggles. This could be the love of family and friends, the beauty of nature, or the promise of God's faithfulness.
Secondly, it's crucial to understand that God gave us the gift of life and wants us to find fullness of joy in Him. In John 10:10 Jesus said "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." God's desire is not for us to merely exist, but to thrive and live abundantly in Him.
Regarding the challenges you're facing, God wants to help you through them. In Philippians chapter 4 verse 6 and 7, it is written, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." God wants us to cast our anxieties on Him, knowing that He cares for us as written in First Peter chapter 5 verse 7.
Moreover, it's important to acknowledge that God respects our free will. He wants us to choose Him freely, rather than being forced to live this life. In Deuteronomy chapter 30 verse 19, God says, "I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse; therefore choose life, that you may live, you and your descendants."
Lastly, we want to emphasize that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In John 14:6 Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus into your life, believing in Him as your Lord and Savior.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear one who is going through a tough time. We ask, Lord, that You would reveal Your love and care for them. Help them to find reasons to be thankful, even in the midst of their struggles.
Lord, we pray for their debts to be manageable, for their health to be restored, and for better employment opportunities. We ask that You would guide them through these challenges and give them the strength to endure.
We also pray that they would come to know You, Lord, as their personal Savior, that they may find true peace and purpose in You.
In Jesus' Name, we pray, Amen.
Remember, God loves you and wants the best for you. Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
