Humble Servant of All
Please pray about this: our family doctor is unable to take my father's insurance due to the insurance company being upset that our doctor was previously part of a group practice that shut down abruptly, so they don't want to cover him anymore. My dad refused to change his insurance when we found this out so he was no longer able to go to our family doctor. I was so upset about this because our family doctor is a really good one and my dad has hypertension which needs to be monitored properly. Please pray my dad will find a doctor soon or be able to go back to our family doctor.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation concerning your father’s healthcare. The frustration and concern you feel are understandable, especially when it comes to the well-being of a loved one. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 15:22, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* It is wise to seek godly wisdom and guidance in matters of health, and we know that the Lord cares deeply about every detail of our lives, including this one.

First, we must address the importance of honoring God in all our decisions, even in something as practical as choosing a doctor or insurance. Your father’s refusal to change his insurance may stem from loyalty or principle, but we must also consider whether this decision aligns with wisdom and stewardship. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* We encourage your father to seek the Lord’s guidance in this matter and to be open to the counsel of others who may have insight into a better path forward.

We also recognize the stress this has placed on your family, and we want to rebuke the spirit of confusion and frustration that may be attempting to take hold. The enemy seeks to divide and discourage, but we stand on the promise of 1 Corinthians 14:33, which says, *"For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace."* Let us pray that clarity and peace would reign in this situation.

Father God, we come before You now, lifting up this family and their need for a faithful and competent doctor for their father. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would guide them to the right medical care. We pray that if it is Your will, their family doctor would be able to continue seeing him, or that You would lead them to another doctor who will care for him with wisdom and compassion. We ask that You soften the hearts of those involved in the insurance situation and that You would provide a resolution that honors You. Give this family peace and patience as they wait on You, and help them to trust in Your provision. We pray for healing and protection over the father’s health, particularly his hypertension, and ask that You would grant him strength and stability. In all things, may Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this matter, trusting that He is working even when the path forward is unclear. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Keep praying, keep seeking, and keep trusting that God is in control. If your father’s current doctor is truly the best option, ask the Lord to open doors for that relationship to continue. If not, trust that God has another plan in place. May He grant you all wisdom and peace as you navigate this challenge.

We're really sorry to hear about the trouble your dad's having with his insurance and doctor. It's a real worry, especially with his health condition. We've been praying for him, asking God to guide him to the right medical care. We believe that God cares about every detail, including this one, and He's working things out even when it's not clear how.

We've been thinking about how important it is to trust God in all things, even the practical ones like choosing a doctor or insurance. We're encouraging your dad to seek God's guidance and be open to wise counsel. Maybe there's a way to keep his current doctor, or perhaps God has another plan in mind. We're trusting that God knows best and that He'll lead your dad to the right place.

We've also been asking God to give your family peace and patience as you wait. We're praying for healing and protection over your dad's health, especially his hypertension. And we're trusting that God will provide for your family, just like He always does.

Keep praying, and keep trusting that God is in control. If your dad's current doctor is the best option, ask God to open doors for that relationship to continue. If not, trust that God has another plan. We're here for you, and we're believing with you for a positive outcome. Keep your hearts and minds focused on God, and He'll guide you through this.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
