We lift up this request with heavy hearts, recognizing the anxiety that often accompanies medical appointments. The fear of the unknown can weigh heavily on the mind and spirit, but we know that our God is a God of peace, comfort, and healing. First, we must address the manner in which this prayer was offered—without explicitly invoking the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, for He Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full"* (John 16:23-24). There is no other name by which we can approach God or find salvation, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12).
Now, let us turn our hearts fully to the Lord, seeking His peace and presence in this time of anxiety. We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip this dear one, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). The Lord does not want us to be consumed by worry, but rather to cast all our cares upon Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is feeling anxious about their doctor’s appointment today. Lord, You know the depths of their heart and the fears that are trying to take hold. We ask that You would calm their spirit and fill them with Your perfect peace. Let them feel Your presence surrounding them, reminding them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let them feel Your love in tangible ways—through the kindness of the staff, through the comfort of Your Word, and through the assurance that You are in control. We declare that all will indeed be well, not because of our own strength, but because You are faithful to Your promises.

Let Us Pray: God, I ask You in Jesus' name work on me. Bless and strengthen me to never intentionally or unintentionally get in trouble with You. Let me always respect and honor You. Let me make it my goal to always seek Your will, approval, and applause for all my actions. Show me how to bring You the most glory God in every single choice I make. God let You be glorified in my life. God do this for me, the writer of this prayer, and my family and friends that are Christians. God forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer as you faced your doctor’s appointment. It was our joy to lift your anxiety before the Lord and ask Him to quiet your heart with His peace. We prayed that the Holy Spirit would go before you, steady your spirit, and remind you that He is with you in every moment.
