Humble Servant of All
Hello fellow servants of christ! I first of all want to say, what an honor it is to have such friends in Jesus Christ on this website. When I first joined this site, I hadn't heard about it before accept in a prayer to the father. I was praying to our father Jesus Christ who intercedes for us with God and I asked him to use me and to give me a place to give my testimony or to pray and help others, while I was praying.... I heard Prayerrequest.com......now remember, I hadn't even heard of this site, I didn't even know it existed, the Lord spoke to me and told me where to go. I know many of you or maybe just a few of you are going through valleys so deep, you cannot see the mountain tops to know they are even there. The darkness that surrounds you is like a deep mist that blinds you when you need to see. Just remember Saul of Tarsus, or Paul. He was blinded on the road to Damascus and from that time when he regained his vision or some of it, he was the rock which Jesus used to weigh down the Word of God during the strongest of storms in our lives. Paul as we all know wrote a huge chunk of the New Testament. Of course he before becoming a Christian was the worst of the worst for hating Christians, God uses the ones who feel they have done no good in their lives, he uses those which nobody else will to build his kingdom, myself included. Those valleys that we are going through are much like those that Paul went through but remember that we haven't received the following tribulations: in 2nd Corinthians, Ch. 11 vs 24: Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea, I have been constantly on the move. I have been in danger from rivers, in danger from bandits, in danger from my own countrymen, in danger from Gentiles; in danger in the city; in danger in the country, in danger at sea; and in danger from false brothers. I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked. Ok, now how many of us can say we've been beaten with rods and stoned and starved because of our faith, how many of us can say we have been in deaths grip 24/7 for our entire life. I know we get down and we feel that God has forsaken us, we feel that we have the weight of the world on our shoulders, we simply don't. Jesus, took that weight....how may of you have seen the statue of the Greek God with the world on his shoulders? Well, since there are not gods accept Jesus Christ and God the father, you can consider this statue as Jesus holding the weight of the world on his shoulders, accept his not bent over, he is standing tall. Jesus took all our sins and iniquities to the cross, it is already bought and paid for. You cannot be going through anything that Jesus hasn't already paid for, so my advice to you would be to pray, give up that sickness, that tribulation you are going through and send it up to Jesus, he has already paid for it, so give it to him. Why would we hold on to something that doesn't belong to us, give your problems up to Jesus, he wants them and he definately paid for them on the cross, so let go of your infirmities. You can't make it through your problems if you refuse to let go of the problem and move forward. Let go and let God. I offer this advice from the Lord to you as well as taking it to heart myself. This was revealed to me so I can use this advice as much as you guys. When the Lord speaks, are we not to reveal his words to our brothers and sisters? Keep in mind with all Pauls problems, which are far worse than any of ours....he wrote most of the New Testament and died a faithful Christian, never losing faith, never giving in, never giving up. So let us use Paul as an example as he used Jesus as his example, we can make it through our problems brothers and sisters, all we have to do is PRAY, PRAY, PRAY and again I say PRAY!!!! This is one four letter word that we are allowed to say as Christians, in fact if you aren't using this four letter word, you are starving yourself, your prayers aren't being answered because you refuse to pray. You don't have to know how to, just offer your words up to the Lord, he will hear you. God bless you all and don't forget to pray.
