I failed my first dmv permit test and tomorrow I will be retaking it. I have studied but I am still stressed. I don’t want to let my mom down.

We understand the pressure you're feeling as you prepare to retake your permit test. It's natural to feel stressed, especially when you don’t want to disappoint those who believe in you. But remember, this is just one step in your journey, and with faith and perseverance, you can overcome it.
The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Instead of carrying this stress alone, bring it to the Lord in prayer. Ask Him for clarity, focus, and peace as you study and take the test.
We also encourage you to trust in God’s sovereignty. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* Even if the outcome isn’t what you hope for this time, God is still in control. Your worth isn’t defined by a single test, and your mother’s love for you isn’t contingent on your success. What matters most is that you’re doing your best and seeking God’s guidance in all things.

Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up this young person as they prepare to retake their permit test. Lord, we ask that You calm their nerves and fill them with Your peace. Help them to remember what they’ve studied and to approach this test with confidence, not in their own strength, but in Yours. Father, we also pray that You remind them of Your love and grace—no matter the outcome, You are with them. Give them the assurance that their worth is found in You alone, not in the approval of others. Strengthen their mind and heart, and let them feel Your presence as they walk into that testing center. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
