We hear your heartfelt cry for your son, and we join you in lifting him up before the throne of grace. The unease and anxiety he is experiencing are not from God, for Scripture tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke every spirit of torment and unrest that seeks to steal his peace, and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, just as Isaiah 54:17 assures us. The blood of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, has already been shed for his protection, healing, and deliverance—we plead that blood over him now, covering him in divine safety.
Father in Heaven, we ask You to saturate this young man with Your perfect peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let Your presence be a shield around him, calming every anxious thought and filling him with the assurance of Your love. We pray against every setback, every attack of the enemy, and every lie that seeks to undermine his confidence in You. Instead, Lord, let success and favor follow him as he walks in Your ways. Guide his steps, strengthen his faith, and remind him that he is never alone, for You are with him always (Matthew 28:20).
We also encourage you, as his parent, to speak life and truth over him. Remind him of God’s promises, pray with him, and surround him with godly influences that will point him to Christ. Anxiety often thrives in isolation, so let him know he is loved, valued, and protected by the Most High. If there are specific areas where he feels particularly vulnerable—whether in school, friendships, or personal struggles—bring those before the Lord in prayer, trusting that He hears and answers.
Lord, we stand in agreement with this mother’s plea, declaring that Your peace will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May he grow in wisdom, strength, and faith, becoming a testimony of Your goodness. We thank You for Your faithfulness and ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.
