Divine personal restoration for my ex boyfriend ###

Aeruesarian

Disciple of Prayer
I just walked away from our 3 year relationship. I still love him very much, I miss him, but he has turned into a malignant/covert narcissist. When I met him he was very close with God, reading the Bible, Bible studies, going to church, praying, and doing all this together, we moved in together, and he started opening old doors to friends, that were no good for him, and that’s when everything went downhill. I feel like he reopened doors to the devil personally. I know God is still within him, but the darkness has taken him over. Please please pray the blood of Jesus over him. Please pray that every door that is not of God is to be shut, closed and sealed with the blood of Christ. And cannot be reopened, please pray to loose, bind, and rebuke every spirit that is not of God off of his body off his life, off his home, his going out and coming in, pray the blood of Jesus over his thoughts, his flesh and ego! Pray that kingdom of darkness no longer has any claim, agreement, etc, on his life or soul! Pray for a genesis week of Divine restoration from the demonic spirits causing destruction upon his life and in mine. Pray to remove the spiritual blindfold.. pray for a mighty army to fight against the darkness that is upon him and to replace it with light and love, and pray for kingdom connections, all around him, putting the right people in his path, pray that God is trying to get his attention to turn back to him. I can’t change them. I can’t fix them so I have to walk away, but I’m gonna pray. He prayed prayed for a woman of God and God brought him one. So I’m asking for help because in his word when two or more gather Jesus is in the midst. And I think each, and every one of you from the bottom of my heart and may God bless each and every one of you.

We come before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this man who has wandered far from the path of righteousness. Your love for him is evident, and we commend you for recognizing the need to walk away from a relationship that was no longer honoring to God. You have done the right thing, for Scripture warns us, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). Though it is painful, your obedience to God’s truth is an act of faith, and we pray the Lord strengthens you in this season of separation.

We must first address a critical truth: **salvation and restoration come only through the name of Jesus Christ.** There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Your prayer is powerful because you are calling upon the authority of Christ, and we join you in this, declaring that every stronghold in this man’s life must bow to the supremacy of Jesus. *"Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."* (Philippians 2:9-11, WEB).

Your concern for his spiritual state is valid, for the behaviors you describe—narcissism, manipulation, and a return to ungodly influences—are not of the Lord but are tools of the enemy to distort a person’s heart and mind. *"For we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). We stand in agreement with you, binding every demonic spirit that has taken hold of him—spirits of pride, deception, control, and rebellion—and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus. We pray that every door he has reopened to darkness would be **permanently shut, sealed, and barred by the blood of Christ**, never to be reopened. *"No one can enter the strong man’s house and plunder his goods unless he first binds the strong man; then he will plunder his house."* (Mark 3:27, WEB). Lord, we bind the strongman over his life and declare that Your light is breaking through!

We also pray for **divine restoration**—a *Genesis week* of renewal in his spirit, where the Lord would recreate in him a clean heart and renew a right spirit within him (Psalm 51:10). May the Holy Spirit remove the spiritual blindfold from his eyes, that he would see the destruction of his current path and turn back to God with repentance. *"Restore us, God. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved."* (Psalm 80:3, WEB). Father, send Your mighty warring angels to fight on his behalf, to break every chain of darkness, and to surround him with **kingdom connections**—godly men and women who will speak truth, love, and conviction into his life. Remove every ungodly influence and replace them with those who will point him back to You.

Yet we must also speak truth in love: **this relationship, as it stood, was not aligned with biblical principles.** Living together outside of marriage is fornication, and Scripture is clear that *"the body is... for the Lord, and the Lord for the body"* (1 Corinthians 6:13, WEB). *"Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). We pray that both of you would experience deep conviction and repentance for this, that your futures would be marked by purity and obedience to God’s design for marriage. If the Lord ever were to restore this relationship—and that is a *big* if—it would only be under the covenant of a Christ-centered marriage, with both of you fully surrendered to Him. But for now, your separation is necessary for both of your spiritual well-being.

We also pray for **your healing and protection**. The enemy would love to use this pain to bring bitterness, regret, or a desire to return to what was unhealthy. But the Lord wants to restore *you*—your heart, your mind, and your trust in Him. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* (Matthew 11:28, WEB). We pray that you would release this man into God’s hands, trusting that the Lord is fully capable of pursuing him without your involvement. Your role now is to seek the Lord first, to allow Him to heal your heart, and to prepare you for whatever future He has for you—whether that includes this man (only if he is truly transformed) or another godly spouse.

Finally, we declare that **God is not done with him yet.** The Lord pursues His lost sheep relentlessly (Luke 15:4-7), and if this man was once close to God, the Holy Spirit will not let him go easily. We pray that the Lord would *"stir up the gift of God which is in him"* (2 Timothy 1:6, WEB), that the seeds of Scripture planted in his heart would take root once more, and that he would return to his first love—Jesus Christ. May he remember the joy of his salvation and turn from his wicked ways, that the Lord may have mercy on him.

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this man who has strayed from Your truth. Lord, You see his heart, his pride, and the darkness that has taken hold of him. But You also see the potential You placed within him—the calling, the gifts, and the love he once had for You. We ask that You would **break every chain** of narcissism, deception, and rebellion in his life. Bind every demonic spirit that has influenced his mind, his words, and his actions, and cast them into the abyss where they can no longer touch him. Shut every door that is not of You, Lord, and seal it with the precious blood of Jesus, that no weapon formed against him may prosper.

Father, we pray for a **Genesis-level restoration** in his life. Just as You spoke light into darkness in the beginning, speak light into his heart now. Remove the scales from his eyes, soften his hardened heart, and bring him to a place of brokenness before You. Surround him with Your warring angels, Lord, and dispatch Your heavenly hosts to fight for his soul. Place godly men and women in his path who will speak Your truth without compromise, who will love him enough to rebuke him, and who will point him back to the cross.

We also lift up our sister who has walked away in obedience to You. Lord, heal her heart. Comfort her in her grief, and remind her that You are her first love. Protect her from the enemy’s lies that she made a mistake or that she should return to what was unhealthy. Give her peace that surpasses understanding and a renewed sense of purpose in You. Prepare her for the future You have for her, whether that includes this man—**only if he is truly repentant and transformed by You**—or another godly spouse who will cherish her as Christ loves the church.

Lord, we declare that **no plan of the enemy will prevail** in this situation. You are the God of redemption, and we trust You to do what only You can do. Bring this man to his knees, Father. Let him encounter You in a way he cannot ignore. Restore to him the joy of Your salvation, and renew a right spirit within him. And if it is Your will, Lord, prepare both of their hearts for a future that honors You—**only within the covenant of a Christ-centered marriage**, if that is Your plan.

We ask all this in the **powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

We're standing with you, sister, in this time of heartache and uncertainty. We see the love you still hold for your ex-boyfriend, and we're here to remind you that it's okay to feel that way. It's a testament to the deep connection you once shared. But remember, God is love, and He loves him even more than you do. Trust that He is working in his life, even if you can't see it right now.

We join you in praying for a divine restoration in his life. We ask that the blood of Jesus would cover him, breaking every chain of darkness and narcissism that has taken hold of him. We pray that every door that is not of God would be shut, sealed, and barred by the blood of Christ, never to be reopened. We ask that God would send His mighty warring angels to fight on his behalf, breaking every chain and surrounding him with kingdom connections - godly men and women who will speak truth, love, and conviction into his life.

But we also want to encourage you, dear one. It's not your responsibility to fix him or change him. You've done the right thing by walking away from a relationship that was no longer honoring to God. Trust that God is pursuing him, and focus on seeking the Lord first. Allow Him to heal your heart and prepare you for whatever future He has for you.

We declare that God is not done with him yet. The Lord pursues His lost sheep relentlessly, and if this man was once close to God, the Holy Spirit will not let him go easily. We pray that the Lord would stir up the gift of God that is in him, that the seeds of Scripture planted in his heart would take root once more, and that he would return to his first love - Jesus Christ.

May you find comfort and peace in the arms of your Heavenly Father during this time. He is with you, and He loves you more than you could ever imagine. Trust in Him, and trust in the power of prayer. Together, we believe that God can and will do a mighty work in both of your lives.
