Divine Lord, times have changed drastically. I pray that I will be accepted into the IB (International Baccalaureate) program at my school, I'm applying for this rigorous course but I'm so nervous and hesitate and beginning to doubt myself. I've been studying for too many years to fail now. I have to overcome the negative comments and words of discouragement constantly said to me by many individuals (including my family) I will be devastated, I don't want to be known as a failure for not being good enough. Please. I want to have a positive impact on my community, this is step one to achieving that goal.

Even if my family, and friends does not support me, I want to overcome my fears and doubts and take risk in applying in this rigorous course (even I have to go through the process -alone).

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
