Divine intervention and protection

We thank God that you have brought this request to Him and we join you in lifting it to the Father in the name of Jesus. He hears the cry of His children who look to Him for help and for covering.

Scripture reminds us where true safety is found. We may prepare everything we can for the day of battle, yet safety belongs to the Lord. Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build labor in vain. A good name and favor with God are better than riches, because they speak of a life that is walking with Him. This is an encouragement to place your trust not in your own strength, plans, or resources, but fully in the Lord Himself for your personal protection.

The Bible also shows that God does intervene in a supernatural way for His people. In many battles He acted from heaven to deliver them, sending hailstones, fire and brimstone, pestilence and even earthquakes to defeat their enemies and to drive them out before them. When He acts, He magnifies Himself and makes His holiness known, and His fury rises against those who come against His own. He is the same God today, and He is able to intervene powerfully on your behalf according to His wisdom and will.

That place of safety is found by abiding in Christ. When you remain in Him, you are in the place where the Lord will bless and keep you. He Himself is your defense and your protection. The life lived outside of Him can look enticing, but it cannot give the true security and satisfaction that is found only in Him. Though the enemy may come against you, you do not need to fear when you are abiding in Christ.

So we pray with you now. Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in this life and for Your hand of protection to be upon them. Keep them in Christ, guard them from evil, and let them rest in the confidence that their safety is in You. Give peace to their heart as they trust You to watch over them and to work in their circumstances for Your glory. In Jesus name, Amen.
