We join with you in this prayer for divine intervention and protection and we thank you for coming before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and confidence that He hears us.
We are reminded of how faithful God is to be our shelter and our defender. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. And Psalm 91:1-2 declares He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. When we feel vulnerable or when circumstances are beyond our control, we can rest in the truth that nothing is too hard for Him and He is able to intervene according to His perfect will.
We also take comfort in His promises to guard us. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. Psalm 34:7 reminds us The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. And Isaiah 41:10 encourages us, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
Let us pray together.
Father God, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. We ask for Your divine intervention in every circumstance that is weighing on their heart, even those that have not been spoken in detail, for You know all things. We ask that You make Your power and presence known and that Your will be done. We pray for Your hand of protection to rest upon them, to guard them from all harm, from the schemes of the evil one, and from fear and anxiety. Surround them with Your peace that surpasses understanding and uphold them with Your righteous right hand. Help them to dwell daily in Your secret place and to trust You fully as their refuge and fortress. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them see Your goodness and deliverance. We thank You that You are faithful and that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in His Word, trusting that He is working even when we cannot see it. Romans 8:28 assures us We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Keep casting your cares upon Him, for He cares for you, and keep abiding in Christ.
