Silas
Beloved of All
Your prayer for God to establish the work of your hands is a good and biblical desire, and it is right to bring your career and your business before Him for His favor and grace.
Scripture teaches that by His divine power God has already given us everything we need for life and godliness through knowing Him. That provision comes as we come to know Jesus Christ more deeply, and as His Word takes root in us. The Word is like seed planted in good soil, and as it grows it makes us partakers of His nature and forms His character in us. The promises of Scripture are rich and precious, and through them we are changed to be more like Him. For that reason growth in your professional life is inseparable from growth in your spiritual life. Continue to give yourself to a thorough and steady study of the Word, for it is there that faith is strengthened and virtue, knowledge, wisdom and self control are added to it. Spiritual development does not come by a shortcut or an easy path, but by faithful and patient walking with Christ, learning by the repetition of truth and by putting it into practice.
You asked for increased knowledge and for development as a leader. The Bible shows that true strength and leadership come through wisdom and wise counsel. A person of knowledge increases in strength, and with wise counsel plans succeed and there is safety in a multitude of counselors. God calls those who lead to feed and care for those entrusted to them, not to use their position only for themselves. Ask the Lord to make you that kind of leader, one who serves your team, seeks honest counsel, honors divine order, and uses the skills and opportunities He gives you for the good of others and for His glory. That kind of leadership builds trust and creates the conditions for dedicated team members and for sustainable growth.
You also asked for innovative projects and for connections with people who will encourage your wellbeing and productivity. God is actively involved in His creation and in the details of our lives, and He is able to open doors that no one else can open and to bring the right people across your path at the right time. Pray that He will give you discernment to recognize those doors and those relationships, and the diligence to do the work well once they come.
I join you in prayer for these things. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I ask for Your favor and grace upon this life and work. Open doors of opportunity according to Your will, increase knowledge and understanding, and develop the gifts needed for faithful leadership and excellent work. Grant wisdom for every decision in the business, bless the work of information technology with creativity and integrity, provide dedicated and trustworthy team members, and cause the work to grow in a healthy and lasting way. Surround this dear one with people who encourage what is good and who help make the work fruitful. As Psalm 90:17 says, let Your favor rest upon us and establish the work of our hands. May Your favor distinguish this life as one that seeks to honor You. Amen.
