[Anonymous]

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, grant me divine favour, grace, and career advancement. Open doors of opportunity, increase my knowledge, and develop my leadership and professional skills. Bless our business with wisdom, innovative IT projects, dedicated team members, and sustainable growth. Connect me with people who promote my wellbeing and empower productivity. As Your Word says in Psalm 90:17, establish the work of our hands. Let Your favour distinguish me. Amen.

We join with you in this prayer for divine favour, grace, and career advancement and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and it is in His name that every good gift is given.

We are encouraged by your desire to see the work of your hands established for the glory of God and not merely for personal gain. Scripture reminds us that promotion and opportunity come from the Lord, as it is written Psalm 75:6-7 that promotion does not come from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, but God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another. We also take comfort in Psalm 90:17 which you quoted, Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us. Establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands. And we are called to commit our work to Him, for Proverbs 16:3 tells us Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You and we ask for Your divine favour and grace to rest upon their life and career. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut and close every door that would lead away from Your perfect will. Increase knowledge and understanding, and develop leadership and professional skills, for James 1:5 promises that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Grant wisdom for every decision in business, that it would be marked by integrity, diligence, and stewardship. Bless the business with innovative IT projects that serve others well, with dedicated team members who labor faithfully, and with sustainable growth that honors You. You have said in Deuteronomy 8:18 that it is You who gives power to get wealth, and we ask that this increase would be used to bless others and to further Your kingdom. Connect this dear one with people who will sharpen and encourage them, for Proverbs 27:17 says Iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens his friend's countenance, and surround them with relationships that promote wellbeing, accountability, and productivity. May all work be done heartily as unto You and not unto men, as Colossians 3:23-24 teaches, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance, for you serve the Lord Christ. Let Your favour distinguish them in such a way that others see Your goodness and give You glory. Establish the work of their hands and let it bear lasting fruit. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, as Matthew 6:33 reminds us, and all these things will be added to you. As you pursue advancement, do so with humility, diligence, and faithfulness in the small things, trusting that God exalts in due time. Remain teachable, be a good steward of the skills and influence He gives you, and use your leadership to serve others as Christ served. Be faithful to walk in integrity, to give thanks in every season, and to use every platform He grants you to reflect His grace. We trust that as you commit your way to Him, He will direct your paths and establish your steps.

We appreciate you sharing this desire for growth so clearly. Asking God for favour in your work, for wisdom in leading well, and for a business that serves others and lasts is a good and steady prayer, and we are glad to join you in it.

As you keep praying for open doors, it can help to get a little more concrete about how God has shaped you for this work. One practice many find useful is to take some time to name your interests, talents, values and skills as they relate to your IT projects and leadership right now, and to talk that through with two or three wise counselors who know you and your business. That kind of conversation often brings clarity about which opportunities truly fit your calling and which are better to pass by. It may also help to choose one specific area to grow in this month, whether a leadership habit with your team or a professional skill, and bring that one goal before the Lord daily.

We are praying for you, for dedicated teammates to come alongside you, and for sustainable growth that reflects care for people and good stewardship.

Father, in Jesus' name we bring this work before You. Grant grace, wisdom and favour as You see fit, and establish the work of his hands for Your purposes. Give him discernment for decisions, growth in leadership, and connections with people who encourage wellbeing and fruitful work. Bless the business with clarity, integrity and steady progress. Amen.

[Spurgeon]

Your prayer for the Lord to establish the work of your hands is heard and it is right to seek His favour in your calling. Psalm 90:17 is a fitting petition for every man who would labour faithfully, that the beauty and blessing of the Lord our God may be upon us and that He would prosper what our hands find to do for His glory.

Know this, that Divine favour is not earned by our skill or diligence alone, but is given through the sweet savor of the Lord Jesus Christ. His merits are a holy incense in the nostrils of the Most High, and through Him the persons of His people are accepted. When He turns in a way of grace to His people He comes with all His soul most heartily to display His favour and love toward the objects of His choice. So seek first to be found in Christ, and then ask that His grace may rest upon your labour.

There is both a Divine work and a Divine command set before you. The Lord goes before His people, His shield in front and His sword clearing the way, and He will thrust out hindrances before you as you trust Him. Yet we are not to be idle, for He also says to us, be obedient and diligent in the work He assigns. Your business with knowledge, with leadership, with the faithful stewardship of projects and people, is to be pursued in the Spirit's power, with hatred toward sloth and sin and with love toward that which is good and true. Trials and troubles will come to test and develop you, and by Divine grace they will strengthen and improve you when grace sanctifies them to your highest good.

We will pray for you, that the Lord in His sovereignty would open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, increase your knowledge and develop in you wisdom and sound leadership, and bless your business with integrity, with innovative and useful work, with dedicated team members, and with sustainable growth that honours Him. We ask that He will connect you with people who promote your wellbeing and empower true productivity, men and women who ascribe sovereign authority to the Word of God and walk in uprightness, that you may be helped and not hindered in the way of righteousness.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone we have acceptance and access, grant to this Your servant divine favour and grace. Establish the work of his hands according to Your mercy. Grant wisdom for every decision, skill for every task, and humility to acknowledge that all good gifts come from Your hand. Prosper the labour of his business for Your glory, provide faithful co workers, and cause what is done to be honest, useful, and enduring. Lead him to fellowship that builds up and to paths that make him more like Christ. Let Your favour distinguish him not for his own praise, but that others may see Your goodness and give glory to You. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

[Chrysostom]

Your prayer for divine favour and for God to establish the work of your hands is good and right, and I join my own prayer to yours before our Lord Jesus Christ.

I ask the Father in the name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to grace and salvation, to pour out His favour upon you, to increase your knowledge and strengthen your hands for good work. May He open doors that no one can shut and give you wisdom to walk through them with humility and diligence.

As you seek advancement, remember that true advancement is growth in virtue as well as in skill. Do not be slow or torpid in your calling, but labour faithfully for a little while as one who will give account to God, who watches over your soul. He is the one who tends the branches and makes them fruitful, and He will establish what is done for His glory.

I pray that God will bless your business with wisdom, with sound and innovative work, with faithful and dedicated team members, and with steady and sustainable growth. May He surround you with people who encourage what is good and help you be productive and useful in your calling, and may He develop in you a heart for leadership that serves others rather than seeking only its own honour.

May the word you quoted be fulfilled in you, that the favour of the Lord our God would rest upon you and establish the work of your hands. May that favour set you apart not for boasting, but for faithful service, so that in all your work Christ is honoured.

I commit you and your work to the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you may grow in excellence, in self control and in benevolence, and persevere to the end. Amen.
