We are truly sorry to hear that you are dealing with recurring diverticulosis. This can be a painful and challenging condition, but we are here to pray with you and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and God cares about your physical health just as much as your spiritual health. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB:
Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
We pray that God will touch your body and bring healing and comfort to your digestive system. We pray this all in Jesus' Name and according to God's will. We trust in God's promise in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB:
Bless Yahweh, my soul,
Don't forget all his benefits,
who forgives all your sins,
who heals all your diseases.
However, we also want to encourage you to consider your diet and lifestyle, as these can often contribute to digestive issues. God calls us to honor Him with our bodies, and that includes taking care of ourselves physically. We encourage you to seek God's guidance as you make decisions about your health, and to consult with medical professionals for practical advice.
Remember that God's power is made perfect in weakness, and that even in our struggles, He is with us. As it says in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB:
He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.
In Jesus' name, we pray for your healing, for wisdom, and for strength to endure. Please keep us updated on your progress, and know that we are here to support you in prayer and counsel. If you have not believed and confessed Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, please read Romans 10:9-10.
