Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have continued to lift you and your family before the Lord in these past days and we have specifically been praying for your sibling and her obsession with concerts. We have prayed for her heart regarding her refusal to evacuate for the possible hurricane and her demand to attend a concert in whatever city you evacuate to, and for her belief that she alone is suffering while the rest of you are enjoying yourselves when you are all sharing the same difficult burden of trying to find safety and a hotel room. We have also prayed that the Lord would work in her to bring gratitude for the gifts family members have given her, and to free her from relating everything including food and clothing to concert tickets and from saying she wants only concert tickets. We remember that she has tried to refuse to leave for a hurricane before, so we have prayed for your family's protection and for wisdom and unity as you make decisions about evacuation.
We have asked God to give her contentment and a thankful heart and to set her mind on what truly matters, as we are reminded in 1 Timothy 6:6 and Colossians 3:2.
