Humble Prayer Warrior
Plaease pray for me. It's been long time since I met my belived woman, lack of time and lack of interest have been the obstacles the enemy has placed between us. Please Lord, let me see her again soon to talk and strengthen our relationship with your blessing. I'm suffering because I've put in a lot of effort and this situation is getting out of my hands, so I'm leaving it in Your hands. In Jesus name, Amen.

We hear your heart and the longing you feel for this woman you care for deeply. It is clear that distance and time have created a strain, and the enemy seeks to use these obstacles to weaken what God may be building. First, we want to affirm that your desire to honor God in this relationship is commendable, and we stand with you in prayer.

However, we must gently address a few things in light of Scripture. You refer to her as your "beloved woman," which suggests a level of emotional and possibly physical intimacy that should be reserved for marriage. If this relationship has not been pursued with the intention of marriage, or if there has been any sexual intimacy outside of marriage, we must rebuke that in Jesus' name. The Bible is clear: "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). If there has been fornication, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, as well as to commit to purity moving forward.

We also want to encourage you to examine whether this relationship is truly God’s will for your life. Are you both believers who share the same faith and values? Is marriage the ultimate goal? The Bible instructs us: "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). If she is not a believer, or if this relationship is not leading toward marriage, we must question whether it is honoring to God.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this brother and his desire to draw closer to this woman. Lord, we ask that You would remove every obstacle the enemy has placed between them, whether it be time, distance, or lack of interest. Father, we pray that You would soften her heart and open doors for them to reconnect, but only if this relationship aligns with Your perfect will.

Lord, we ask that You would give this brother wisdom and discernment. If this relationship is not of You, we pray that You would close the door and give him peace in that. If it is Your will, we ask that You would guide them toward marriage, built on a foundation of faith, love, and mutual submission to You. Help them to honor You in every aspect of their relationship, keeping their hearts and bodies pure until marriage.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of discouragement and frustration that has come upon him. We declare that his efforts have not been in vain, for You see his heart and his desire to honor You. Strengthen him in this season of waiting, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to seek God’s will above your own desires. Spend time in prayer and in the Word, asking Him to reveal His plan for your life. If this woman is the one He has for you, He will make a way. If not, trust that He has someone even better prepared for you. Surrender this relationship fully to Him, and remember: "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4 WEB). But those desires must align with His will, not our own.

Lastly, if you have not already, we urge you to ensure that both you and this woman are walking closely with the Lord, seeking His guidance together. A relationship built on Christ will withstand any storm. Keep pressing into Him, and He will direct your steps.

It is hard when distance and silence fall across a relationship you have poured yourself into, and the ache of loneliness can feel especially heavy when you are doing all you can and still watching things slip through your hands. We feel that weight with you, and we are grateful you are naming it here and laying it before the Lord. That act of surrender, telling God it is out of your hands and into his, is not weakness. It is the quiet ground where his strength meets our lack.

One thing we notice again and again: when isolation presses in, gathered worship quietly pushes back. Simply sitting among God’s people, singing the old words and the new, receiving the bread and the cup, can remind your heart that you are not on your own. You do not have to have everything sorted to belong there, and you do not have to carry this by yourself. If you have a service or a small group you can simply show up to this week, let the songs and the prayers hold you a little, even when you are still weary.

We are glad you asked for prayer, and we are praying with you now.

Lord Jesus, our brother is hurting under the strain of separation and a longing to reconnect. Meet him in that lonely place with your own nearness. Give him the steady peace that does not depend on quick answers. Quiet the turmoil that tells him this is all on his shoulders. As he waits, surround him with kind faces and honest words that make the load more bearable. And in your time, guide whatever conversation may come with wisdom and with a clearer sense of your direction. We ask this in your strong name. Amen.

You have cast your care upon the Lord; now be careful that you do not take it back again into your own hands. It is a blessed thing to make an unconditional surrender, not merely of this trial but of all you are and have, to your Father’s good pleasure. If this relationship is His gift, He will guard it; if it be not, then His denial is a mercy beyond all your present sight. Do not trust in your own efforts, for that road leads only to misery.

Trust in the living God, who works in ways invisible and times unexpected. The enemy may sow obstacles, lack of time, waning interest, these sting the heart, but he who trusts without seeing has a shield that quenches every fiery dart. Only see to it that your hope is set upon nothing that would grieve the Holy One of Israel. If your beloved woman is to be your wife according to the ordinance of marriage, then pray, wait, and work with prudence, but never with sinful anxiety.

Our God is a God with a great, warm, loving heart; He hears the cry of the afflicted. If He seems silent, trust Him in the dark, for that is the very moment when faith wins its brightest crown. Let your soul cling to Jesus, the true Bridegroom, and then all earthly loves will find their proper place beneath His shadow. Go in peace; you are saved the moment you trust Him, and every other blessing He will add in His season.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of obstacles that the enemy has placed between you, but consider whether your own heart might be the greater barrier. For impatience and the demand for things on our own schedule are indeed thorns that spring up and choke the good seed. As it is written: love is not provoked, thinks no evil. If your affection is true, it will bear this season of separation with long-suffering. You say you have put in much effort and now place it in God's hands; yet true surrender does not dictate the time or manner of answer. Hell's gates cannot prevail against a soul that waits on God with thanksgiving. Do not mistake mere delay for denial, nor let loneliness convince you that your happiness lies in the sight of one person rather than in the sight of Heaven. Often, our afflictions work to teach us not to trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead. Let this trial serve that holy purpose.

But I must also ask: what is this relationship you seek to strengthen? If you are not bound in the sacred covenant of marriage, then your longing, however sincere, cannot demand God’s blessing on terms contrary to His command. The world applauds attachment before commitment, but the order of Christ is purity before intimacy. If this woman is indeed your beloved, then pursue her in holiness, not in shadows. Seek her company under the light of God’s law, with purpose toward holy matrimony, or else flee the temptation. For nothing is less trustworthy than the desire that sets itself above obedience. Let your prayer be: "Lord, if this is from You, make the path straight; if not, break my heart in order to save me." You say you leave it in His hands; then leave also your impatience and your notions of how and when. The righteous man surmounts obstacles not by straining against hope but by enduring in hope. And remember: there is no distance between souls whose eyes are fixed together on the heavenly city. That city is not reached by miles but by moral disposition. If you travel thither earnestly, your very suffering becomes the chariot that carries you to its gates.
