Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join with you in this prayer for truth and honesty and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus, for there is power in His name and truth in His way.

You have prayed rightly that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and as He said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 We agree that lies are serious before God and we share your burden for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives who have chosen dishonesty. Scripture is clear about how God views this, Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. Proverbs 12:22 And again, Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another. Ephesians 4:25

We commend you for the grace God has given you to show patience and kindness even while facing hardships and legal trials. That is the heart of Christ in you, to not repay evil for evil but to desire repentance and restoration for those who have wronged you. We pray that your continued kindness will be a witness to them and that God will use it to convict their hearts. We also understand your insight that to persist in lying one must harden the conscience and break down resistance to sin. We pray with you that God will rebuild that resistance and restore a love for truth within them.

We are reminded that You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32 Dishonesty may seem to offer an advantage for a time, but it brings bondage and consequences, while honesty brings freedom and life. We pray that their eyes would be opened to this reality before they suffer greater consequences, for all liars will have their part outside the kingdom unless they repent, and God desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace and we thank You for Your presence in our lives, for fighting for us, and for the heavenly gifts You pour out. We thank You above all for the sacrifice of the cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for us sinners. Lord, You are the God of truth and justice and You see all that has been done in this landlord matter. We lift up the landlord, his team, the lawyers and legal representatives to You. We ask that You convict their hearts, build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty, and teach them to practice honesty in all they say and do. Remove the spirit of deceit and replace it with a love for truth. Let truth prevail in every document, every hearing, and every word spoken, so that justice may be done according to Your will. Protect these Your children who have endured hardship, guard their hearts from bitterness, and continue to give them grace to walk in patience, kindness, and forgiveness while still standing firmly for what is right and true. We surrender our lives and our will to You, trusting that You are our defender and righteous judge. Let Your will be done in this situation and let all involved come to know the freedom that only Your truth brings. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in truth while entrusting justice to God, for He has said Vengeance is mine, I will repay says the Lord. Romans 12:19 Continue to speak the truth in love, keep careful records, seek godly counsel, and let your yes be yes and your no be no. The Lord delights in honesty and He will honor those who honor Him. We pray that this trial will result not only in justice for you but in repentance and salvation for those who have practiced deceit, that they too may come to know Jesus who is the truth.

We hear both the weight of what you have faced with the landlord's team and legal representatives, and the kindness you have chosen in return. Continuing to meet dishonesty with patience is not easy, especially when you have already endured hardships, and we are thankful for the way you are asking God to work in their hearts toward honesty rather than asking for harm to come to them.

One thing that may encourage you as you keep praying is that choosing to treat others as valuable before God and wanting good for them can live alongside clear boundaries. Forgiveness in that sense is a decision about how you will respond, it does not automatically mean trust is restored or that consequences disappear. It is understandable if peace comes gradually, with ups and downs, as you continue to walk honestly before the Lord yourselves.

A simple next step that often helps in situations involving legal communication is to keep a brief, factual record of dates, conversations, and documents, and to have one trusted, level-headed advisor review things with you so you do not carry the burden alone.

Father, we bring this situation to You in Jesus' name. We ask You to guard these friends in truth and give them wisdom and steadiness in each conversation and decision. Work in the hearts of all involved to love honesty and turn from deception, and protect each person from the harm that lies bring. Give freedom and peace that comes from walking in truth, and lead all according to Your will. Amen.

Your prayer honoring Christ as the way, the truth and the life is right and pleasing to God, for God is light, that is truth, for He can neither err nor break His word, and therefore He cannot smile on anything that is false. If there be upon our lip a false word, or in our heart a false thought, so far we are out of the sphere in which God can have fellowship with us. To come before Him truthfully, owning our own need of His mercy through the blood shed on the Cross, is the only ground on which He will meet with us, and He will never cast away a sinner that comes to Him according to truth.

It is good that you have asked not for vengeance but for honesty to be restored. We do not wrestle with flesh and blood, and this sacred war is not with men but with Satan and with error. We are at war with falsehood, but the persons who have practiced it we love and pray for. You have shown patience and kindness even in hardship, and that is the mind of Christ. Continue to buy the truth at any price, to desire truth in doctrine, truth in the heart, and truth in the life, and to have Christ who is the truth to be your treasure forever.

We join you in praying that the Lord in His marvelous loving kindness would work in the hearts of the landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives. May He who knows all things open their eyes to see that lies are serious before Him, build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty, and grant them repentance and a love for what is true. We ask that truth would indeed set them free from the consequences of lying, not by hiding sin, but by bringing it into the light where it may be forgiven and forsaken. Always expect the unexpected when you are dealing with God, for He is able to restore and to heal and to crown His people with loving kindness and tender mercies.

We pray also for you, that the Lord would keep you in honesty and peace, that you would walk in the light as He is in the light, and that you would be strengthened to surrender your will to Him daily, trusting His gracious and merciful hand to fight for you and to bless you with heavenly gifts.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your presence and for the sacrifice of Your Son whose blood was shed for sinners. We ask You to establish truth in this matter, to convict where there has been falsehood, to teach all involved to practice honesty, and to guard our own hearts that we may walk uprightly before You. We join you in giving thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth and the life, and who by His blood shed on the Cross has made a way for sinners to be reconciled to God. Your prayer honors Him, and we stand with you in it.

Lies are indeed a serious matter before God. Scripture teaches that dishonesty does not merely harm others in this life, but brings wretchedness upon the soul and imperils it for the life to come. When gain is sought through falsehood, through oaths and perjuries and covetous dealing, it rivets the heart to earthly things and wounds the conscience. Even wealth gotten honestly can become vanity if it is not used for mercy, how much more when it is gotten by deceit.

You have asked with grace in a hard season, that you have been enabled to show patience and kindness to the landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives, even while you have suffered hardship. This is the fruit of godliness lived out, not only in doctrine but in life, and we thank God for that grace at work in you.

We pray with you that God would build up in those who have opposed you a true resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty. Truth, when it meets an honest and candid soul, easily masters it as light enlightens clear eyes. We ask that the Lord would open their eyes to see that truth brings freedom, while falsehood brings bondage and its consequences, and that He would lead them to turn from every false way and to practice honesty in all their dealings. We pray that they would come to know the holiness and righteousness that is according to truth, which is found only in Christ.

We also pray for you, that the Lord would continue to guard your heart in quietness and peace, in all godliness and honesty, and keep you firm in trials. May He who fights for you supply what you need, confirm you in the truth that sets free, and keep you faithful as you surrender your will to Him.

We commit this whole matter to the Father, in the name of Jesus, asking for justice tempered with mercy, for repentance where there has been wrongdoing, and for truth to prevail for all involved. Amen.
