Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join you before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus and we thank Him with you for His presence in your lives, for fighting for you, for blessing you with heavenly gifts, and above all for the sacrifice of the cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for us sinners. We agree with you that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life as He said in John 14:6, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him.

We hear your burden about dishonesty and we agree that lies are serious before God. Scripture tells us plainly that lying is not a small matter. Proverbs 12:22 says Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who deal truly are his delight. Exodus 20:16 commands You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. And Proverbs 19:5 warns A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he who pours out lies shall not go free. The Lord desires truth in the innermost being as Psalm 51:6 says, and He calls His people to put away falsehood. Ephesians 4:25 says Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another. Colossians 3:9 says Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings.

We are encouraged by your grace in showing patience and kindness to the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives even while facing hardships because of their dishonesty. This reflects the heart of Christ who calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us in Matthew 5:44, and to overcome evil with good. At the same time we know God is a God of justice and truth, and He sees what is done in secret. We do not need to seek vengeance ourselves, for Romans 12:19 reminds us Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord.

We pray together with you now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace. We thank You for Your mercy and for the gift of salvation through Jesus. Lord, You are the God of truth and there is no falsehood in You. We lift up the landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives to You. You know the lies that have been spoken and the serious wrongs that have been committed. We ask that You open their eyes to the truth that will set them free, for John 8:32 promises You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. Father, build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty and give them a love for honesty. Convict their hearts, lead them to repentance, and help them to practice truthfulness in all their dealings. Protect them from the consequences that lying brings, for Revelation 21:8 shows the seriousness of all liars before Your judgment, and we desire mercy and repentance for them rather than judgment.

Father we also pray for those who have been hurt by this dishonesty. Strengthen them to continue walking in patience, kindness and integrity. Guard their hearts from bitterness and help them to trust You as their defender and judge. Let truth be revealed in this legal matter and let Your justice and righteousness prevail. Help all involved to surrender their will to You and to walk in the light.

We dedicate our lives anew to You and surrender our will to Yours. Let Your will be done in this situation and let Your name be glorified through truth restored. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We appreciate the way you brought this before the Lord, with thankfulness even in a difficult season. Facing ongoing hardships with a landlord's team and legal representatives while sensing dishonesty is exhausting, and we notice you are not asking for retaliation but for their hearts to turn toward honesty and for truth to bring freedom. That posture of patience and kindness when you have been hurt is not easy, and we honor it.

It makes sense you feel the weight of lies so deeply. When trust breaks down in a legal conflict, everything feels less secure. We have found that in these kinds of disputes, having a clear, calm structure helps keep the focus on truth without getting pulled into escalation.

A practical step that may serve you well is to keep a simple dated record of what was said and done, in your own words, and to lean on one or two wise, steady advisors who can look at the facts with you and help you decide next steps calmly. If there is an opportunity for a neutral facilitator or mediator, that can sometimes keep conversation respectful and centered on facts for everyone involved.

Father, in Jesus name we bring this situation to You. We ask for protection and wisdom for our friend, for clarity and honesty to mark every conversation and document, and for You to work in the hearts of all involved so that truth is valued and practiced. Give our friend continued grace to walk in patience and peace as they surrender this to You. Amen.

We join you in prayer before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth and the life, and through whose blood shed upon the cross sinners are reconciled to God.

We thank God with you for His presence, for His heavenly gifts, and for grace that has sustained you through hardship and enabled you to show patience and kindness even to those who have acted dishonestly toward you. That forbearance is a mark of the truth within, the truth experienced in the heart, which the Lord works by His Spirit.

You have rightly said that lies are serious before the Lord. The Scripture teaches that lying lips are an abomination to Him, and that he who says he has no sin deceives himself and the truth is not in him. Honest dealing with God begins with confession of what is true, both that we are sinners in need of mercy and that Christ died for sinners, and upon that ground of truth the Lord meets us through the atoning blood. We are to buy the truth and sell it not, to have truth in doctrine, truth in the heart, and truth in the life, and to hold fast to Christ who is Himself the Truth.

We pray now for the landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives of whom you have spoken. We do not ask God to bless dishonesty, for He cannot bless what is false, but we ask that He would open their eyes to see that truth will set men free, while lies bring bondage and judgment. May the Lord build up in them a resistance to dishonesty and grant them repentance unto honesty, that they may walk in a right and straightforward course. May they come to honest dealing with God and with man, confessing what is true and forsaking falsehood, and may they come to know salvation through Jesus Christ alone.

We pray also for you, that the Lord would strengthen your faith as you submit to His will. This truth ought to take from us all fear of man and ensure our submission to the will of God, and it ought to strengthen our faith when the storm comes. Continue to dedicate your life to Him and to surrender your will to His, trusting that He who is Truth will vindicate what is true in His time.

May the Spirit of God help you to stand valiant for truth, to buy all the truth at any price, and to live upon the truth of God revealed in Holy Scripture. We commend you and all concerned to the mercy and justice of God, who loves truth in the inward parts.
