Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,
Amen

We join with you in this powerful prayer and we are deeply encouraged by your heart for truth and for those who have wronged you. You have come in the right way, in the name of Jesus, for He Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And we thank God with you for the sacrifice of the cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for us sinners, for without that blood there would be no forgiveness and no access to the Father.

We agree with you that lies are serious before God. Scripture is very clear that dishonesty is not a small matter. Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. Proverbs 12:22. And we are warned, You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. Exodus 20:16. Jesus taught us that the devil is the father of lies, and when we speak lies we align ourselves with him, but when we walk in truth we walk in Christ. We also remember the sober warning that all liars will have their part in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. Revelation 21:8. This is why your prayer for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives is so Christlike. You are not asking for vengeance, but for their repentance and restoration.

We commend you for the grace God has given you to show patience and kindness even through hardships. This reflects the heart of our Lord who calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us. We pray that God will continue to guard your heart from bitterness and that you will continue to speak truth in love. Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another. Ephesians 4:25. And, Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings. Colossians 3:9.

We pray together for truth to prevail and for hearts to be changed.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace. We thank You that You are a God of truth and that Your Word is truth. We thank You for Your presence, for fighting for us, and for the heavenly gifts You pour out, above all the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Lord, we lift up this situation involving dishonesty and the serious crimes committed through lying. We ask that You would convict the hearts of the landlord's team, their lawyers and legal representatives. Build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty, open their eyes to see that You hate lying and that lies bring destruction. Help them to practice honesty and to turn from deception before they suffer the full consequences of their actions. We claim Your promise that You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32. Set them free from the bondage of deceit and set all involved free through the truth being revealed. Father, give wisdom and discernment to all judges and authorities involved, that justice would be done fairly and righteously, and let Your will be done. Strengthen our brother and sister who prayed this prayer, guard their heart, provide for every need, and help them to continue to walk in forgiveness while also standing firmly for what is right and true. We dedicate our lives anew to You and surrender our will to Yours. In the mighty and saving name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord to be your defender. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21. Keep documenting the truth, keep praying, and keep walking in integrity, for the Lord sees all and He will bring what is done in darkness into the light. He is faithful to vindicate His children in His perfect timing.

We were struck by the way you prayed, beginning with thanksgiving for God's presence and the cross, even while you are carrying the weight of dishonesty from your landlord's team and legal representatives. To ask God to build honesty in those who have wronged you, rather than just asking for vindication, reflects real grace, and we want to stand with you in that.

What you are navigating is hard because you are holding two good desires at once, wanting truth to come to light and wanting to remain patient and kind as God has been kind to you. It can help to remember those two can go together. Choosing to release any desire for revenge and to treat others as people still made in God's image is not the same as saying what happened did not matter or that trust is automatically restored. You can continue to seek what is true through the proper channels while keeping your heart free before the Lord. That deeper emotional peace often takes longer to settle, and that is normal.

As you continue, it may help to keep a simple, clear record of communications and dates, and to stay connected with a trusted pastor or wise counselor who can walk with you through the practical and legal steps so you are not carrying this alone.

Father, we thank You for this dear one who loves Your truth and wants to walk in it. We ask You to guard their heart with Your peace, to let truth be clearly seen, and to work in the hearts of all involved to love honesty. Give wisdom for each next decision and strength to keep surrendering their will to Yours. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for truth is itself pleasing to the God of truth, for He is a God who cannot lie and whose Word is truth. You have done well to come before Him in the name of Jesus, who is Himself the way, the truth and the life, and to give thanks for the blood shed upon the Cross for sinners. There is no other ground upon which we may approach the Father with confidence, and upon that ground we may come boldly.

You rightly feel the weight of dishonesty, for lies are not light things. Scripture teaches us that to claim we have no sin proves that the truth is not in us, and that God will meet us only upon the ground of truth, when we confess what we are and trust what Christ has done. To buy the truth, as the wise man says, is to hold it in doctrine, to know it in the heart by experience, and to walk in it in practical life. Truth spoken may be resisted, but truth embodied in a life has power through the Spirit of God, because Christ Himself is truth transparent in word and in deed.

It is therefore a faithful petition to ask the Lord to build up in others a resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty. We join you in praying that the landlord and his team, with lawyers and representatives, may have their eyes opened to see that truth sets free while falsehood brings bondage and sorrowful consequence. May the Lord who is abundant in goodness and truth grant them to see the reality of sin, the reality of atonement through the precious blood of Christ, and the reality of pardon for all who honestly confess and believe. He who has promised will not deny Himself, and sooner shall heaven and earth pass away than one word of His shall fail.

We also thank God for the grace He has already given you to show patience and kindness under hardship. This is to overcome evil with good, which is the calling of the saints. Continue in that course, remembering that this war between right and wrong must be continued and that we are to be valiant for God and for His truth. Fear not man, but trust the Lord whose truth endures to all generations, and submit your will wholly to Him as you have dedicated your lives anew.

May the Spirit of God help you to walk in honest dealing with Him, confessing your own need daily and resting upon Christ who died for sinners, and may He make you steadfast in truth in doctrine, in heart and in life, until you see Him who is Himself the Truth face to face.

We commend you and those for whom you pray to the faithful keeping of our God, who loves truth in the inward parts and will honor those who honor His truth. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
