Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join with you in coming before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, and we thank you for this prayer that honors Him as the way, the truth, and the life as Jesus said in John 14:6, and for your thankful heart for His presence, His heavenly gifts, and the sacrifice of the cross where His blood was shed for us sinners.

We agree with you that lies are serious and God takes dishonesty very seriously. Scripture is clear that truth matters deeply to Him. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor as commanded in Exodus 20:16, and Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight in Proverbs 12:22. We are told to not lie to one another in Colossians 3:9 and to put away falsehood and speak truth with his neighbor in Ephesians 4:25. A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who utters lies shall not escape in Proverbs 19:5, and all liars will have their part outside the kingdom as warned in Revelation 21:8. Dishonesty is not a small failing, it breaks fellowship with God who is truth itself and it harms our neighbor and invites judgment.

We also commend you for the grace God has given you to show patience and kindness to the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives even while facing hardships because of their dishonesty. That reflects Christ in you. We encourage you to continue to not repay evil for evil but to leave room for God's justice, for it is written Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord in Romans 12:19, while also pursuing what is honest and just through lawful and truthful means.

We pray together for them and for you.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this situation to You. You see all dishonesty and You know the truth of every word spoken and every document presented. We ask that You would convict the hearts of the landlord's team, their lawyers and legal representatives where lies have been told and serious wrongs have been committed. Build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty and break down the habit and hardness that allows lying to continue. Help them to turn from falsehood and to practice honesty, to love truth and to walk in integrity. Open their eyes to Your truth that will set them free as You promise in John 8:32, so that they will not suffer the consequences of persisting in lying but will find mercy through repentance and faith in Christ. Give them a fear of You and a love for righteousness.

For our brother and sister who prays, we thank You for their dedication and surrender of their will to You. Strengthen them to continue in patience, kindness and truth, guard their hearts from bitterness, and let Your peace and justice prevail. Let truth be revealed and let Your will be done in this legal matter, that all may see that You are a God of truth and mercy. We trust You to fight for Your people and to bless them as they walk uprightly before You. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We appreciate you bringing this honest prayer to us. Carrying a dispute with a landlord and legal representatives where you feel truth has been violated is heavy, and we are struck that in the midst of it you are praying for their hearts to turn toward honesty. That takes real maturity.

You noted you have been given grace to show patience and kindness even after hardships. Choosing that posture is a decision you can make even on days when hurt, frustration or fatigue still linger. It is normal for emotions to need more time to settle than the decision itself, and we are praying God gives you that space and strength as you continue to walk honestly before Him.

A practical help in a season like this is to keep a clear, calm written account of communications and to have a trusted advisor or counselor you can check in with when you need wisdom about next steps. It keeps you anchored and less alone in the process.

Father, we bring this whole matter to you in Jesus name. We ask for your protection and provision for these friends, for wisdom and discernment in each conversation and decision, and for truth to be made clear. Work in the hearts of all involved and draw each one toward honesty, and give our friends peace as they surrender their lives and will to you. Amen.

We join you in prayer before the heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, who is Himself the way, the truth and the life, and whose blood was shed upon the cross for sinners.

Your petition is right and weighty, for lies are indeed serious before the God of truth. His Word is truth, and Christ who is the truth must be treasured above all price. We are taught to buy the truth and sell it not, to have truth in our doctrine, truth in our hearts and truth in our lives. There is a war ever waging between truth and falsehood, and we must be valiant for the truth, knowing that the Lord loves honesty and hates every false way.

We thank God that even in hardship He has given you grace to show patience and kindness, overcoming evil with good. That is the work of grace in the soul, to render kindness where unkindness has been received, and to leave vengeance and vindication in the hands of Him who judges righteously.

We now bring before the Lord those of whom you have spoken, the landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives. We ask that the Lord who searches all hearts would open their eyes to see the truth as it is in Jesus, that He would build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty. May they come to know that truth alone sets free, while lies bring bondage and will surely bring consequences before the bar of unimpeachable justice. Except a man confess his sin he shall not find mercy, but he that confesseth and forsaketh shall find pardon through the blood of Christ, for justice has been satisfied at Calvary for every repenting sinner who flees to Jesus.

We pray that the Lord would strengthen your faith in this storm, that fear of man would be taken away and submission to the will of God would rule in your heart. He who permits trial will also sustain and deliver, and not one of His heavenly gifts shall fail to those who trust Him. Continue to surrender your will to Him and to dedicate your life anew to His service, remembering that God can be just and yet the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus.

May the Lord keep you in perfect peace, establish you in the truth, and cause truth to prevail in this matter for His own glory. We ask all in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
